“Hotel Sereno is indeed serene. Set in a tranquil garden this Villa has a wonderful history and the minute you arrive, you feel its 1915 past and its revamp in 1950. It now serves as a charming time capsule in terms of architecture,decor and pleasant Italian charm. The staff are delightfully kind and friendly. Whilst the english was minimal my little Italian got me by. I was charmed by the spaciousness of my room, the breakfast terrace and vintage settings as well as the vintage but comfortable inside dining areas. Outdoor furniture is comfortable and allows enjoying the well maintained garden. The jewel though is the hotels garden that leads to the road below and beaches. But before you get there lies a cute outdoor bar perfect for a nightcap or drink before dinner. I loved my stay here but if you are expecting new and modern stay somewhere else half as charming! “Great place to visit Genoa, spent some time on the beach (about 3 km from the property) or go hiking in the mountains around. The owners are very hospitable, kind and helpful; being locals, they can tell you everything you want to know about the surrounding area – from the smallest pizza place in the village to the most famous attractions in Genoa.
The room and the bathroom are very spacious, spotless clean, with a huge terrace towards the sea and the mountains. Private parking is available, including a charging point for electric cars. There is also a very nice pool, available for the guests.
Superb breakfast with fresh fruits, homemade cakes, focaccia, eggs from their own chickens and about everything else one may wish.
