“Exceptional stay! I've travelled a lot and this would be one of my top hostels ever. It has such a warm, cosy, homely vibe—the entire place feels like a home away from home, you just want to stay forever. The way the living rooms are arranged and colourfully, cheerfully decorated really create an environment where everyone wants to chat with each other—so great for a solo traveller! The bedrooms are so homely, and the beds are so comfortable, and they even provide two pillows each which makes it so comfortable. Every bed has plenty of power outlets which is so useful. I really appreciated that the rooms were full of colour and weren't just the typical lifeless white everything you see in so many other hostels. I even had a beautiful view from my room! Excellent kitchen, very well-stocked with common essentials and spices etc. free to use which I really appreciated. The kitchen has such a friendly, home-cooked meals vibe and seems to attract young people who are social in a family-friendly way, which I personally loved! (not for families, i.e. just not for partying). Staff were very nice. Just a great stay overall, I so highly recommend!! I wish all hostels were like this!”

“I can't remember my room number but it was down stairs beside the bar. The room was clean and had had everything I needed but it was noisy being beside the bar - not because of folk being in the bar but due to staff talking outside my room door to other staff in the bar later at night....not great. Food was excellent as was the breakfast.”

  • “Clean and had a nice view of Ben Nevis. Dinner was also great.”

“The room was small but ok for one person. The bath was quite new and fully ok. The personal is totally friendly and helpful in case of any issues.”

  • “The breakfast”

  • “Delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, loved the EV Chargers on site! Dog friendly was great, we were on the top floor which was very warm (even with the window open 24 hours) so this made it a little uncomfortable for sleeping and perhaps it would have been better on the ground floor but guess the building has to be well insulated for the winter temperatures!”

“Graham and his team were fantastic! Very friendly, funny and helpful. We felt very comfortable there, and the surroundings were beautiful. Food was great and plenty of space to take dogs for a walk. I would absolutely love to stay here once more if I ever swing by the area again.”

“Great location just 2 minutes walk from the bus station, very central and close to shops etc. VERY clean, an immense amount of showers / toilets available so no waiting ever, and all feel very clean. My room (4-bed) was incredibly spacious. Great living room with great views, and again, clean and spacious. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I had a nice stay!”
