“This place is amazing! The rooms are so big and modern, it’s the most space that I’ve had in the last 2 months of travelling. Big bathroom and balcony space too.
Within walking distance to the beach and town, we rented a scooter from here but you can also use the sons tuk tuk taxi for a cheap price :)
The mother and son who run the place are so so helpful and kind. We had great conversations with her every morning over the huge and delicious breakfast, we never had to eat lunch 😅
I had a migraine and she gave me some of her personal medication which really helped. Overall just so kind and welcoming, no better place in Tangalle than here!”

- Note: Google Maps shows very few restaurants around, but in fact there are many cozy, cute restaurants and cafes within walking distance.”

“Check in was swift shown to our room , nice and spacious almost like an apartment , went down stairs to have some dinner , the soup of the day was fantastic home made and the chicken was a nice meal too. The purpose of our stay was to do the Safari in Yala at 5am so didnt really use the pool at all as we was on the move.”
“We had an amazing time at tissamaharama. The room was super clean and comfortable. We got to participate at cooking and learned so many new things about sri lankan food! The whole family was so nice to us, it was truly a highlight of our sri lankan roadtrip!
