“I would describe my stay at Single Trees Yala as more of an immersive experience than a hotel stay, which I think is why most people would book a treehouse stay near a national park anyways! The staff couldn't do enough for you, they served me an enormous dinner when I arrived (although granted there was only one option) and had a lovely breakfast laid out for me when I returned from my safari tour.
The views from the treehouse were stunning, it definitely felt as if you were immersed in your environment. The lack of wifi wasn't even an issue because it's well stated before booking but the hosts will happily hotspot you if you need anything urgent. Overall it was a mixed experience but I've detailed some factors in the improvements section which I feel like if addressed, would make this more of an 8/10 stay rather than a 4.”
