  • Hostal Familiar Jerico Review score: 10

“The staff here are so very kind. Every morning Marta would sit down with us and help us plan our day. The bread, fruit and coffee is a great start to the morning. The rooms are exactly as pictured, nothing fancy but very comfortable. Location is a short walk from the centre and right next to a fun Tejo bar. We had a lovely stay here.”

  • Hotel Castilla Real Review score: 9

“The hotel is in an excellent location, near the beginning of Av. Circunvalar where there are many good restaurants and bars and good shopping. But also an easy walk to downtown and some of the historic areas. The hotel is excellent value for the money, especially compared to some of the other Pereira hotels I have stayed in that are more in the city center. It is an older hotel, almost quaint, but nicely kept up and very clean and well run. The walls seem to be thick so the room was very quiet, and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was good and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will probably be staying there from now on when I am in Pereira.”

  • Terrazas de Salento Review score: 10

“The hotel is in an excellent location, some rooms have a nice view of the city, however we were not so lucky :-(. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, they speak English, which is more the exception than the rule in these places. Excellent breakfast, good recommendations for restaurants and coffe tour. It is possible to use the refrigerator in the common area. They also have their own parking space, which is very important if you come with your car. Highy recommended.”

  • Viajero Salento Hostel Review score: 9

  • Casa La Eliana Review score: 10

“- Jesus (the host) was really nice, he gave us a perfect overview, with prices on what to do in Salento (we did the some of them and got never disappointed) and after the checkout we could stay until the night in the common areas for catching a nightbus - the kitchen and eating area is quite big and well equipped - everything really clean (cleaned every day)”

  • “We loved the view from the balcony of the room, despite being a bit from further from the centre it was a stunning view. The staff were very hospitable (especially Rafa), he organised us an early taxi to Cócora and then had our sandwich from breakfast ready for us to eat when we returned. The beds were really confortable and cosy too, the hotel is really affordable and great value with the included breakfast.”
