“We stayed 2 nights and we had the most wonderful time. The hosts were extremely welcoming and empathised greatly with our beautiful dog who is slowing down due to arthritis. Nothing was too much trouble for this young couple - including the delicious breakfasts which included a vegan option for myself. It was a very relaxing time and a wonderful experience staying there. We will definitely be going again and would recommend the Castle Lodge very highly. Thank you.”
“Di was a friendly, bubbly host and I was in a cosy, quiet attic room overlooking the pretty, peaceful village. I loved the old stone building we were in and its location in the heart of town. The breakfasts were amazing and abundant and the heated indoor swimming pool was a huge bonus for me, although for health and safety reasons you must always swim with at least one other person. Luckily I was visiting a friend in Hay, so we always went together. I would definitely come back here to stay in the attic room again.”
