Door can’t be locked but it’s safe.

Love the vibe of the place. Chill countryside. Details of the bathroom are great - nice provision of toilet paper and toiletries. Host Tamar is really helpful with our instant trips and even picked us up when we arrived.

Beautiful location. Super large, cosy room (lovely decor) in a converted old barn. Eco-friendly set up, hot muffins for breakfast, great hosts, what's not to like. We will be back :)

Tamar and family really make you feel welcome, without being intrusive. We stayed in room 5, a converted, historic farm building complete with high beams and wooden flooring. A roomy yet cosy stay with en suite facilities. A small TV and complementary refreshments. Quiet, no noise other than a Cockerel crowing in the distance, adding to the ambience in the morning as you would expect, as we had the window open. Breakfast served to our requirements and within an adequate time slot for both early risers and lay in snoozers. Deep in countryside, but close enough to market towns.

Spare bed a little uncomfortable. No cooked breakfast option but this is countered with a great continental breakfast.

Tamar is great and very welcoming. Put up a second bed for our daughter. This was low on comfort but did the job. Breakfast was good. Mix of continental options. Close to llandovery. Beautiful room.

To achieve perfection, I'd have liked a bedside mat.

This was my first stay and I will return. Beautiful location, very well presented rooms, with excellent shower facilities. The ground floor rooms suited me very well as I am partially disabled. Breakfast was excellent. Nearby Llandovery can cater well for other meals. The WiFi worked well.

The location was idyllic. The breakfast was very vegan friendly and the coffee was extraordinarily good.

The walls between the rooms are thin (the conversion being done some years ago I understand) so there was some noise from the next room on one evening. Ear plugs were provided, although we didn't use them as it wasn't very loud or for very long, and didn't stop us getting to sleep.

The host was very helpful even before we arrived, with messages about arrival and route, even offering to pick us up if need be on her school run. The place was easy to find, and there was plenty of space to park. The room was a good size - very nice to have 2 armchairs. The shower was good, and it was all very cosy. The grounds were delightful - we had a lovely walk round the lake and through the woods. It would be super in warmer weather to sit in the courtyard garden in the evening and/or in the morning with breakfast, as the views are wonderful. Breakfast was an excellent continental style, with plenty of choice, and fresh fruit served beautifully in a lovely room. It's a great area for walking, and there were maps to borrow of the local areas. Llandovery is a short drive away, where we were able to eat in the evening, and where there is an excellent ice cream cafe.

Lovely, spacious and well furnished room in a beautiful part of Wales and with a good breakfast included. Tamar was very considerate and accommodating and we appreciated the efforts to make it a more sustainable place to stay.
