  • Lamego Hotel & Life Review score: 8

“The facilities, attention to detail and overall comfort of the hotel was delightful given this is an individually owned hotel and not part of a chain. Sustainability was at the centre of everything they do. We ate in the restaurant twice for dinner and the food was of an excellent standard with friendly service. The spa facilities were a great way to finish the day after waking all over Lamego to soothe aching feet and legs. A super property!”

  • Vila Gale Serra da Estrela Review score: 9

“Amazing location and super friendly personal.”

  • “amazing room view”

  • “This hotel is a real gem in the heart of Viseu. The spa area is amazing, we loved it. If you want a Japanese breakfast, you need to book it in advance. But we were unlucky, because they do not serve it on Mondays. The continental breakfast we ordered was simply superb, with a lot of choice. Overall, we felt like VIPs during our stay. When we checked out, we met the owner of the hotel, and she told us her inspiring story about opening this place. We wish this place and its owners great success and prosperity!”

    “Cozy environment, excellent view.”

  • “Great hostel situated near old town- recently renovated so spotlessly clean. Laundry facilities available too. Lovely, helpful staff, delicious breakfast too”

  • Hotel Bela Vista Review score: 10

    “It was good.”

  • “Gorgeous location in a dreamy room”

  • Longroiva Hotel Rural Review score: 7

“Easy to find. Large car park. Friendly receptionist. While our room was a good size, the lighting was very, very poor. The only room with proper lighting was the bathroom, so we had to put those lights on and leave the door open, in order to see anything. Ridiculous and frustrating, I just want to be able to see! We had a small balcony overlooking the river which was nice. The bed was comfortable and the great blackout curtains meant we slept well. We had a fridge but it didn't work, sadly, no kettle in our room. The shower was weird, it had a normal head and a large rain head, but the water came out of both simultaneously. Not really a great way to save water. Breakfast was lovely, good choices and tasty, crispy, fresh pastries. Great coffee.”
