“The room and facilities were very adequate for our stay. Location of the hotel was close to public transport (one stop on the bus to railway station) and also a 10 minute walk to the town, shops, restaurants etc. The hotel had a very good restaurant and a wide range of choices for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.”

“We stayed in room 215 which was spacious and quiet. The location is excellent - literally opposite the SBB train station and there are many tram stops just outside the hotel. The buffet breakfast served hot and cold and was very varied. It’s a short walk to the old town of Basel. We did not have a car, nor did we need one as the hotel is very central.”
“Charming hotel in a quiet and restful elevated position directly above the centre of the town and yet extremely close to everything. Beautiful courtyard and an onsite restaurant with very good food. There is a lift from reception that takes you directly down to the main streets. Very good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.”
