Manager should explain to the staff that it’s not ok to flirt with guests and the employee should not wait for the guest to impose his communication

-The breakfast could have had more variety, especially in the bread department. -The check out time was too early at 10 am. -You need to climb up an incline to leave the hostel every time, which I found inconvenient, especially with my large backpack after checkout.

-For my staying overnight in Basel, they gave me the Baselcard, which allowed me to take the public transport for free and enter most museums with discounts, so the price of the hostel justified itself for me. -The hostel is spacious and comfortable. -The staff do their best in making you feel at home. -There are many bathrooms around the corridor, so you don’t have to wait in line to use those as in many other hostels.

The staff were very helpful. It’s in a very quiet area of the city which is nice and peaceful, but can also feel a bit far away from the centre.

Nice vibe hostel, had to pay for towel. room was clean, big lockers. Breakfast was good - more VEGAN options please! Great it was included in the price! Location is a very nice walk from old town and great for walks along the river. There was no hot water during the day for a shower (but fine the next morning). Cleaning/kitchen staff was nice and polite. Nice lay out in the 4-bed dorm, there was a door to help privacy so room mates could sleep. All ages was accepted. Toilet were clean and showers had room to move!

Only i thought i stayed in a mixed room but it was a mens room there was a misplacement.

Breakfast was very very good. The rooms were nice. Overall it a was very nice stay. You can walk to the main areas.

Bare concrete walls, floors and ceilings may be a trendy design choice but it feels like holidaying in prison. Fortunately the pluses outweighed the minuses.

Good breakfast included and other meals of an equal standard Handy for the little ferry across the river. Very comfortable beds - excellent mattresses. Right next door to the Basel Paper Museum - an unlikely must see.

The exposed concrete is not my most favourite thing but it was beautifully matched with wood and steal so it wasn’t too bad 😆

The breakfast was a bit limited in my opinion and you'd always have to wait for all options to be filled up again. Also it could be mentioned that you need a 2 Franc coin for the lockers instead of a lock, because there's no bank or supermarket close by to change money.

It was clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. The hostel design is modern and minimalist. Also the location where the hostel is located is quite cute.

The bathroom door is very heavy and a little uncomfortable to use.

The hotel is in a very good and safe area - quiet and beautiful, next to the Rhin. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room has a minimalist style - I love it! Comfortable bed and shower with very hot water (which I really enjoyed).

Too far tram stop and you have to carry your luggage and pull them down the hill and unfortunately the road heading down to the hostel are under renovation. This is may 2024. And the hostel isn't easy to find as you have to enter to the church property and behind the area of the hostel.

The batrhroom were fantastic. Foods are ok. Ordinary breakfast. Quiet room i have had as i only stayed overnight.
