“This was a very nice place to stay. Clean and quiet, well stocked kitchen, two bathrooms! Best things are the private terrace off the bedroom, lovely cool air conditioning on a very hot day, and great location to all the sites and shopping.
Our host was fantastic, even though I never met her in person her communication was very quick and excellent and we are so grateful for the extra help she offered to receive a package that was being mailed to us from Porto.

“A very beautiful, welcoming, and quiet property within São Miguel Machede Village, although fully integrated into nature since it is located on the outskirts of the village, touching the countryside. There is a small supermarket in the village just a few steps away (closed only on Sundays), where you can buy almost everything for a short stay; however, if you want more variety for a longer stay, everything is within a small radius (between Évora, Estremoz, and Redondo).Although there are excellent dining locations in the Alentejo region (fantastic restaurants and wine producers), as recommended by the host, we always used the outdoor area for breakfast and dinner, highlighting that the house is fully equipped for all your needs.At night, the sounds of crickets, birds, and sheep by the pool are truly relaxing; in summary, a stunning property located in such an incredible place.A special thank you to the host for delivering fresh bread to the house every morning.”

Located on the outskirts of São Miguel Machede Village, just 15 minutes from Évora (UNESCO World Heritage Site), it provides an excellent location to relax, read a book, sit by the pool, and feel the essence of the countryside.We reserved both houses, which are side by side, as we were looking for total family privacy within the common area (outdoor area and stunning pool); it was an incredible family vacation experience, a rural retreat near the city, comfortable and sophisticated at the same time.”
