Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandSpent a week here with my parents and two kids, great to have the two separate areas (apartment up stairs) so although there was 6 of us we always had plenty of space to have some quiet time. Villa was very clean and very comfortable. Fruit trees out front were in full bloom and made for great fresh juice each morning. Host was excellent at communicating. Villa is approx 10 minutes outside Villa Mora and ubers are plentiful (between €7 and €10 per trip)

United KingdomThere was a lot of ants around the pool but it wasn't so bad didn't bother us too much and could have been way worse!
The place was spacious and homey with really comfortable beds and couches, plenty of fridge and freezer space for all our food😁The view is stunning with excellent location just a 10 min drive from Vilamoura beach, the area is beautiful and the garden and pool was simply amazing we had such a fabulous time relaxing on the beach chairs in the gorgeous sunshine and enjoying the couches on the balcony as well as having fun in the pool! Our host was very accommodating always communicated immediately and helped us out with whatever we needed!! It was a fantastic holiday, thank you Tony!!

United KingdomI honestly cannot think of anything to critique about the Villa. Everything was there for us and nothing too much of an effort if we needed to ask a question,Tony took the time to ensure our stay was a happy and relaxed time away. Nothing was too small or big to discuss. I remember saying to my family on day 3… I just have a need to explore the entire villa which took a bit of time to get around! We have managed to capture many beautiful family moments that we will treasure for ever ❤️ Honestly Tony, we cannot thank you enough. Even to the moment when I arrived in Newcastle airport and explained my lost car key… £750 later and you were still invested in making sure we were okay. I thank you so so much for allowing us to share your beautiful villa for the last few weeks and I so cannot wait until next year. 😁🤗😁
We enjoyed everything that Villa Oliandra had to offer. The list is endless so please bear with me 😊… The electric security gates were superb for our family. My nephew is non verbal autistic and he can be a flight risk. At the start of our holidays, we tend to spend countless hours ensuring the place is safe and secure. We only required 5 minutes and felt at ease straight away. The photos honestly do not do the villa justice. Only once you are there, that you see the villa for its worth and size and beautiful scenery and so so peaceful!! As a family, it worked so well for us. My brother and his family stayed downstairs where my mum and I enjoyed life upstairs in the villa in the two separate bedrooms and bathroom. It was amazing and meant we could all be super relaxed and not feeling like we were impinging on each other, especially the mornings. I especially enjoyed the morning as would be up early when it was so peaceful and try my best to take all of that scenery in. It is like a home from home (seriously), we didn’t need to take hairdryers. Everything is pretty much there for you. I ironed my entire suitcase upon arrival. The family laughed so much but I had the last laugh when I saw them getting that ironing board back out each day 😂. We met amazing neighbours… albeit broken English and Portuguese but they made us feel at ease and met a beautiful dog called Rocky. It felt longer than just two weeks of a stay. I enjoyed where the villa was situated… not too far from Villamoura. We usually stay near Guia but was brilliant to stay closer to the marina. We hired two cars through booking.com, not that this is a definite must have but we enjoy breaking a day up by going to Algarve/Mar shopping centre. Absolutely ❤️ driving on the right side of the road, feels more natural. Tony (our host) was on call each and everyday, nothing was a bother for him and he took pleasure in responding to our many questions.

PortugalSometimes there were ants in the house but this is an overall problem in Vilamoura (every house I've been in had ants). However, the owner was upfront about it with us and left us sprays to deal with the issue so it wasn't a big problem
The outdoors of the house were amazing and had great view on the terrace. Pool had a cover to put at night so that the water was warmer the next day. Confort (couch, beds,...). The owner was great and flexible with everything.

IrelandThe location was great, so close to Vilamoura yet also in a lovely quiet area with lovely views. The pool was a real highlight of the trip for our group and we spent a lot of time around it. Such a great holiday. Tony, our host, did everything he could to make our trip comfortable and the care and attention he puts into the property was clear to see, right down to the immaculate lawn and beautiful flowers, orange and lemon trees. Highly recommended.

The Villa was in a beautiful Private setting, remote yet easily accessible to Vilamoura with UBER. The Villa has everything that one could need and perfect for either a family or group of friends. Rooms spacious and Air Conditioned. The Pool is just perfect. Water warm all day and spotless. I could write a lengthy endorsement of this Villa as we loved every second of our visit and we will definitely be back. NOTE: The owner Tony was an amazing host and in regular contact to ensure we were happy....

PortugalWe had a fabulous stay. The quality of the water, including the swimming pool, was very good. The outdoor area is beautiful, we spent most of our time by there, a real sun trap! Beautiful and well maintained gardens. The kitchen was well stocked. Tony is a wonderful host, gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived at Villa Oliandra. He was very supportive and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.
