Pool a bit cold when temps dropped below 25 Indoor pool was very salted Local area was not family friendly (Albufeira strip) but I should have researched this better Albufeira old town was not charming

One morning my partner was rudely sent away from the breakfast because she could not see our booking for the breakfast. The female staff showed no empathy, or or even suggested what he could to do resolve - until I went to reception where the very helpful kind Maria confirmed our booking. He was left very embarrassed by the lady accepting guests to the breakfast room.

The hotel location , the full breakfast and the wonderful hotel facilities. We have stayed twice previously at the Vila Petra.

The staff were all excellent and accommodating The location perfect for a night out on the strip or a nice meal round the corner . The whole experience of the holiday was excellent

Some of the items listed weren’t available as standard in the room. We requested an iron but as we hadn’t requested this at check in at waited till getting ready to go out we then had to wait till the day after.

Great location - a little away from the strip so you can get some quiet time but only a 5 minute walk if that’s the purpose of your visit. The pool is great and the breakfast is definitely worth paying for.

Single beds in the one bedroom apartment. Beds are not comfortable. The two sofa beds in living room are singles.

Indoor & outdoor pool. Very close to the strip but completely quiet. They have a shop, restaurant & gym.

Two twin beds pushed together, rather than a double bed as stated. Rooms and bathrooms basic enough but grand for what we wanted.

Nothing to not like!

Just returned from a 7 night stay. We're a family of 4 with 2 older teenagers. We loved everything about Vila Petra! The staff are so welcoming and friendly, every part of the hotel is spotlessly clean, the entertainment team is brilliant. The location is great for accessing both the strip and Old Town, so there are plenty of places to eat. We stayed in a 2 bed room with a pool view, and it had absolutely everything you could think to need, including a tea towel. We spent a lot of time in the pool and loved that there was no rush to reserve sunbeds as this was not permitted or tolerated by the pool side staff. Entertainment was fun, and the personal favourite was the quiz (which we won). The Bellux team worked tirelessly to keep everyone engaged and do a brilliant job. The entire site was immaculately clean. The pool was cleaned every night, the grounds were kept in great condition, and our room was serviced with new towels and a full clean every day. Would 100% recommend Vila Petra, and we will be back!

Just one thing. water in their supermarket on site was 70c and at the pool bar it was 4 euro! I wouldn’t mark it down for that just buy water from the supermarket instead.
