United KingdomRoom - Pillows were too hard, had difficulty falling asleep, and had slight neck pain in the morning. Pool facilities - To use the pool facility it is asked that a swimming hat is brought at €6 per hat.. This is not mentioned prior to booking.
Facilities were really nice, had everything one would expect in a Spa resort. The room was nice, comfortable bed, and very spacious with a nice view.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable and so big that we ended up sleeping parents and 2 kids together most of the nights. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Some of the spa facilities were bot functioning but the inside pool was very nice.

The hotel is secure, safe and relaxing. We love the space and tranquility. It’s lovely having nature all round. The two bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable with all the things you need for a self catering holiday. The bar serves a good range of snacks and meals. The location is great for visiting nearby towns, villages and beaches if you have a car.

United KingdomThere was a drain smell in the bathroom - same smell outside on the approach to our block of rooms The bath with shower inside was very high and difficult to a get into for someone with a physical disability . It took a while for the room to warm up on arrival but all fine after a while It is a distance from the sea but location is clear on the website . Fine with a car obviously.
The room was very clean & light. Fantastic huge comfy bed with lovely linen. The breakfast is really nice- plenty of choice and pleasant staff on hand. Evening dinner also enjoyable - served by lovely welcoming staff who couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. Juan( I think) is a star- really loves his work and everything customer focused . He & his colleagues made us feel special We know that the indoor pool is great but we didn’t have time to use it this time . Outdoor pool looks great but too cool in January for us to use. Gardens are beautifully kept. Gardener looked very conscientious. Very peaceful out of season and excellent value at this time of year

PortugalHonestly I like everything. maybe the prices of Olive Tree restorant are a little bit to high, but the food is really tasty there, so in terms of quality and price I think it is ok.
I love the breakfast, It is in a buffet format and they had everything. Also I like to much the people that work there, they were really kind and always they are paying attention of what you need. Also the activities that they had on the gym or the pool were really interesting. My partner and I are really happy with the experience.

PortugalThe Spa is a bit small and the only facility functioning was the Turkish bath but with 39C - not effective. To use the pool and whirlpool one has to go to another building, during winter a bit uncomfortable. Like at any other 5 Star Resort there was no fresh, natural orange juice on the breakfast buffet and this in the Algarve which is saturated with such fruits...
The bed was very good, the surrounding architecture with lots of plants was beautiful. The room of the restaurant where the breakfast and dinner had been served was lovely, spacious and had a nice view.

United KingdomStayed for 4 nights with breakfast. The Olive Tree restaurant serves superb food. The resort is immaculately clean. It is very peaceful there, ideal if you want to relax. The staff are friendly, accommodating and very professional making our stay truly pleasant. It is also about 10 minutes drive from Carvoeira and its pretty beach. Had a fabulous Spa day too. Would happily return for another break.

United KingdomOverall we loved our stay at the resort and we will book again. There were a couple of things that held us back from giving 5 stars all round. The apartments are lovely, but the kitchen area is looking a little dated in terms of its cupboards and appliances. The same could be said to a lesser extent for the bathroom. Our air conditioning was a bit temperamental, and we ended up switching it on and off at the fuse box! The sound on the TV in our room (S08) was very bad, and dialogue was at times difficult to understand. We ordered room service one evening and it took over an hour to arrive. And the staffing at the bar next to the restaurant wasn't great. We had to wait for around 10 minutes for someone to appear to serve us! On a more positive note the outdoor area to the apartments is excellent; the outdoor pool area is great, and the spa treatment we had was brilliant. The gym area however is not so good. The equipment is limited and the floor to slippery.

United Arab EmiratesThe place is clearly understaffed: waiting on breakfasts; waiting on dinners, because the kitchen is slow (on the 3rd day it felt like a waste of time, better do your own cooking for dinners); waiting by the bar for your juice. The poolside was always almost fully occupied, but there was not a single soul to serve drinks etc, which feels awkward for such a place. To management: wash the windows in the lobby already)
Consider this place as a spacious comfortable house located in a silent place with a gorgeous garden, perfect for unwinding. The common facilities are somewhat rudimentary (see cons), so don't expect much from them, and your expectations will be met 100%
