The hotel is a little bit out from the town centre. We walked in no problem however as it is on an incline (providing stunning views), it was tougher on return so we chose to take a short Bolt taxi home each time, usually costing around €5 which we were happy to pay.

We stayed in The Views Baia for a few days during our honeymoon, and it did not disappoint. On arrival, there was beautiful champagne and a cheeseboard in our room as I had mentioned it was our honeymoon. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, and the facilities available mean you can relax and unwind whatever the weather (outdoor pool/ indoor pool & spa). Our room was basic but met all our needs and had a very large, comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for everyone. There is different music every night in the cocktail bar, which we enjoyed listening to while taking in the views of Funchal below.

The only negative point was the cleanliness of the room. It should have been cleaner. Lots of dust, hair on the floor and smelly toilet (reported to the reception). My cousin which stayed with her husband in another room had same experience. So I hope that will be taken into account and improved soon.

The location and personal were super. View out of the upgraded room - outstanding. Breakfast buffet very diverse and tasty. Well equipped gym. From that point one of the best hotels we stayed at.

Traffic noice due the location in the middle of the town - couldnt sit on the balcony and relax, but with the windows closed the traffic noice was not noticable

Hotel location is near Funchal city centre. Views from the hotel are spectacular. We stayed on the 10th floor and couldn't be more happier with our hotel room and the view. Spa facilities were cosy and well equipped (sauna/swimming pool with the view to the Funchal coastline/jacuzzi) & of course same goes to outdoor pool. Breakfast was over the top, very wide variety of food selection. Highly recommend!

It was amazing. Beautiful views from my balcony and loved the additional extras you get staying in a suite. Breakfast was lovely. The suite was to die for. Nice pool with views and Spa was also perfect. I didn't use the gym or eat in the restaurant so can't comment on these. Reception staff especially the lady I dealt with on arrival were helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you want a bit of luxury on your trip.

The staff - “no” was their answer to basically everything. They were not flexible about anything, not helpful at all, sometimes borderline rude. There was only one nice young lady working at the reception, everyone else acted as if we were not welcome and didn’t care at all about making our stay pleasant or helping us out with anything we needed.

The facilities were very solid, it’s a large hotel and there’s everything you need - outdoor pool with a beautiful view of Funchal, large indoor pool, several saunas, padel court, etc. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the rooms were spacious and comfortablez

I would appreciate some cloth for the sauna as it is not very comfortable in the classic towels.

The hotel was clean, the room was spacious and well equipped for the hotel. We liked the spa and the pool. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff was nice. I would return here anytime.

The views at the Views were truly magical - our room was facing the sea and thanks to that we did experience some breathtaking sunrises. Anyway, in terms of the accommodation itself, we have nothing to complain about. Big plus for the gym, the outdoor pool and the spa - we were spending our last days on the island here, so after so many hikes, a rest area was needed. Last but not least, I want to thank the friendly staff and for the sparkling wine on my birthday.
