Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThey didn’t mention that the shower was over the bath so it was a bit difficult for my aunt to climb into the bath to shower. I am not sure if you have rooms with walk in showers and I missed this.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Always smiling. Great location for the trams and restaurants.

New Zealandthe wifi would not connect in my room and the reception girl came up and helped me. we had to take my devices down to reception lobby to get the wifi to connect. I regret I didn't remember her name but she was fabulous. I liked that she spoke some reo Māori as well.

New ZealandThe bathroom situation. The sink being outside the bathroom was challenging and also having to use the bathroom sink for the kitchen activities wasn't great. The overhead lighting for the fold out mirror was terrible so I ended up putting on my makeup using the full length mirror. This lighting was slightly better but still not great.
The hotel was very centrally located and within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants we wanted to visit.

New ZealandI've stayed here a few times when I can get a good price on here. It is always comfortable and clean. The breakfast is really good....great healthy variety, cooked, pastries etc. I really like that they have a pillow menu. They have all sorts of different types that you can order from house keeping. I've not dine that as I like the ones already on the bed....but that would make a huge difference for some.

New ZealandThe carpet in our room was quite grubby and needs cleaning or replacing. Noisy neighbours with kids yelling, had to call reception about 10.30pm to ask them to be quiet. Best to keep kids away from others if possible. Pillows were a bit big and needed a selection, I did see we could have called reception for more. Shower drain smelt a bit.
Location was excellent. Bed was comfortable and the room was a good temperature. Food in the restaurant was nice. Would stay again.
