Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandNo major quibbles, felt like some common areas outdoors just needed a freshening up after the winter, and in fairness, that work was underway.
Lovely breakfast buffet, great location, rooms were immaculate, comfortable beds and great showers.

United KingdomHotel is dated and needs redecorating and tidying - rooms were great size but not cleaned very well (bathroom floor dirty, broken glass in living area, dust on all mirrors, smears on doors). The area for breakfast is woefully small and need to queue and wait for a table at busy times, even out of busy season.
Excellent location, immediately off the beachfront and tucked away from the noise and hustle of the new town/strip.

JerseyI believe the hotel needs a good update , you are in a stunning location, hardworking staff but the rooms are what needs improvement but once that’s accomplished you have “ the cherry on top of the cake “ . Great company and you could all be proud of your work .
The biggest asset is the staff form the various departments, they go the extra mile to try to please you and make your experience memorable. Thank you All

United States of AmericaThis is an old establishment that would've been an ideal spot in its hay day but now its just a location for large groups/families to book stays with who wouldn't care much for asthetics and cleanliness. The bathrooms are appalling with stains and clear signs of wear with old plastics turned yellow, bathroom tiles with gunk that would only come off with a deep clean, there was no hot water and we had to spend and hour while they fixed it to only end up with lukewarm water on New Year's eve. The evening concierge was very professional and quite frankly should work for a better hotel. The odd checkin and checkout times make it terribly inconvenient. Again, I think its value for money for large groups but couples please stay away. I think the hotel have taken for granted that people come irrespective of it being old due to the location as it gets full points for it!
Location (access to the strip and the sea view and the beach and restaurant), parking.

United KingdomDespite the message after booking that there are 30 bars and restaurants, the available hotel facilities kept changing without notice. At times, there was only one restaurant (Jac's). Jac's is not even in the hotel, has only a tiny shaded outside space that was too cold to use, the food was moderate at best, the sound of scraping chairs and screaming children echoed at every meal, and even in the evenings only plastic cups are available. There's something wrong with the stock ordering system. It's just bizarre for a 4-star all-inclusive hotel to run out of products like beer and tonic water. In the hotel, a motor of some kind (maybe to do with the indoor pool) ran from 8:30 until 9pm and rattled the apartment walls all day, so it was hard to relax inside. There was also construction going on to renovate a section of the hotel, so it was hard to relax on the balcony between 9-5 Mon-Fri due to the noise. When the on-site Aqua bar was open for breakfast and lunch, the music was too loud for conversation, and the animation team would play different music at the same time, so it was hard to relax there, too. The room electrics tripped off regularly, and in the end, we stopped reporting it and just put it back on ourselves since that seemed to be what the maintenance team did. The tap water was brown, and the person who came to fix it ran the taps until it was a lighter brown. This place describes itself as 'affordable luxury', but imho, there's nothing luxurious about poor food, wine in plastic cups at evening meals, running out of bar stock, drilling noise, intermittent electricity, brown tap water, and no on-site restaurant in a 4-star all-inclusive hotel.
The pool area was gorgeous and right by the beach. The views are fabulous. The staff were great. The indoor pool is a brilliant size. Our one really nice evening meal was in the Aqua Bar (before it closed for the season).

SwitzerlandThe rooms are very dated, and the shower fixture in the room I stayed in didn't work well (or really at all). I don't want to mark them down too much for this, since I could tell they were in the process of renovating, yet it is a substantial inconvenience. Similarly, there is some noise and mess because of the renovation, and some areas of the hotel and amenities were inaccessible because of this.
The staff here were very friendly and helpful, which was an immediate good sign. The room I stayed in was also MASSIVE - much larger than I would have anticipated, and I had a lot of space, including a very large private balcony area. The room was clean, though old fashioned and with dated fixtures. And the location is great! Minutes from the beach or from the boardwalk, so it is easy to find something to do and enjoy.

Irelandbreakfast a bit disappointing, eggs are a central part of a good breakfast but here there was only some nasty scambled eggs, a topclass hotel would have an omlette chef on at breakfast.
had a few nice days in November with temps in the 20s, outdoor pools were icy cold so indoor pool was nice to get a few laps done, the two bed apartment we got was excellent, could have comfortably slept 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.
