Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe street was quite loud at night, don't know if it was only that night or if there's a bar/club nearby.
Great localisation of the hotel in Ponta Delgada, we could have the breakfast even earlier than the regular hours to catch our early flight. Big shout out to the team that sent us back the airpods that we forgot in the taxi, thanks again!

without a doubt, the friendliness of the hotel staff. Rosa is a SUPER STAR & Maria too. When welcoming me and helping me find my way, Rosa was simply perfect. The entire hotel experience shifted simply with her smile and warmth.

HungaryVery well located hotel in the center of the city. Everything is within walking distance for a day of exploring. The staff was very helpful as we arrived early and got the room. The breakfast is good, you can even make yourself a warm sandwich. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the wifi was good.

BelgiumMy room was next to the staircase and this noisy in the morning (despite my request for a quiet room). Breakfast a bit basic and coffee not too good.

PortugalBathroom was somewhat small and the layout wasn't the best. Also, it was a bit difficult to navigate to the hotel and get to the parking garage.
The lady that checked us in on a Friday was AMAZING - she fixed our parking issue, told us a great place for dinner, and even mapped out our itinerary to get to all the places we wanted to see. She couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was good and a great value for the price.

United States of AmericaThis hotel was perfect! The location is great- just a few minutes from the city center with lots of restaurants, shopping, and tourist sites. The staff was very helpful scheduling taxis and recommending where to eat and shop. The room was clean and well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. All for a great price! Would definitely stay here again for a safe and comfy stay in Ponta Delgada!

BelgiumSadly our room smelled a little weird when we first arrived in our room. We discovered quite quickly that there was a leak in the shower which meant the entire carpet floor againt the bathroom wall was wet and smelly. When we informed the receptionist about it he asked us if it was a problem or not, since he could not promise us another room. This struck us as a bit weird, since I cannot imagine anyone wanting to sleep in a smelly room with wet carpet.. In the end we ended up in another room, where the carpet was not wet, but after a glance at the bedside table and the carpet next to the bedroom wall, is was clear here had been an issue as well (since we did not take a shower it is unclear to us if the problem had been solved or not).
The hotel is located in a very strategic place: close to the bus stops, not too far from the center of the city but not too close that you would hear any noises. Breakfast is not very luxurious, just some bread, eggs, fruit, yoghurt and several kinds of coffee and tea, but it is enough if you don't need a very large breakfast to start your day. The personnel was kind but not going out of their way to make your stay memorable.
