Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

was difficult finding the room, as the address i had was the chemist across the road, i had to make a few phone calls for someone to come and take me to the studio , it was only across the road, but it did take about 15 mins for someone to come, after that all was ok and a great price

United StatesAbsolutely best location to really feel a part of the action, yet the room was still so quiet and peaceful! Loved our balcony views and having to check in at the Sky Bar, at sunset, was actually one of my favorite parts as you get a great view of the city at sunset that we wouldn't have seen without having to go here for check in! Everything was clean and in good condition. Our space was huge for just the 2 of us. Would definitely stay here again!

New ZealandIt was difficult to find. We had to phone them to ask exactly where it was and someone came to show us and let us in. The stairs were never mentioned and there were lots, as we were on the top floor. Not great for carrying suitcases up. We booked this because they said they had parking and then they said it was only if you booked for 7 days. We never saw that anywhere when booking. They said there was free parking up the road but we couldn't find it and what we did see was difficult to get to and didn't look very secure. We ended up paying 20euros for parking for the two days at a nearby underground carpark. It was still a long way to carry all our things as you couldn't get near the place with a car.

Fortunately a local trip sales location was able to point out an address on a completel different street. Far from ideal after a long journey.

CanadaThe air conditioning broke well before we arrived. We kept being told that someone was coming to fix it and they never did. In 30+ weather. AC is helpful especially to sleep. The host did give us some fans but it was hard to beat the heat! We had to have the big doors open just to get some air flow.
Our host was fantastic and just across the street if we ever needed anything. The suite is in a great location and very easy to access anything. Would rate a 10 if the AC had worked.

New ZealandPicking up the keys was not ideal as it was in a different building on a top floor with no elevator. As I was alone I had to take all my luggage up the stairs to get the key, back down the stairs and then back up the stairs of the building I was staying in. If not alone then someone could wait at the bottom with the luggage until you have checked in
