In one of the bedrooms there is the central heating station, which is quite noisy.

The room was very nice and clean. There were a lot of dishes and cutlery that could be used. The small cooking area is also nice. :) The apartment is not far from the centre and pretty quiet.

There is a really small bedroom which has no AC and if you try to open the windows you will get a lot of mosquitos because the windows have no mosquito nets. The curtains are not light blocking and in the courtyard there are some night lights with sensors that are all night long turning on and off. The dors are making loud noises and the sound proofing is not existing. The shower curtain is not helping at all, so every shower fills the bathroom with water. I would recommend a shower cabin, there is enough space for that. The AC in the living room doesn't really have cold air, it looks really old and probably it's just for decoration. If you fix the AC, put on some mosquito nets, change the curtains and install a shower cabin the place would be really great and perfect

The place is big and a couple of rooms have a lot of space. It is close to the city center and it is really easy to find a parking place on the street. The beds are comfortable. It is quiet. Free wifi Two bathrooms

Although my rating is not high, I definitely recomend the place, as you understand from my review, depending on what you are looking for. I asked the owner if I could check out late afternoon and he said it would be possible if I would make a review with "10". In the end I checked out only about 1-2 hours later as I had to, but I am really against writing reviews that are not 100% objective, let alone buying reviews and the like. So, this is no good practice.

Communication with (son of) owner was very good (good englisch). The room is not impeccable but it has a certain positive aura that made me feel like in my own home, very interesting. I liked that everything seemed to be made by a person with love and smart, despite some small imperfections, which however were not problematic for the function of the things. Amongst others, high ceiling, very nice woodden parket and other details I really liked. In the end, the price was quite low. Unfortunately, the fotos associated with my room were mixed with fotos from the entrance hall, which is a no-go. As I had chosen the location due to the glas table - because I needed it for working with my computers - I just took it to my room - nobody complained, but nobody was there anyway ;-) Finally, improvisating with 2 tables, I could set up a real office there and work nicely. The outside light is sufficient although a house is on the other side. The place is super quiet although you are in the middle of the city, and a few streets farther you may encounter a busy traffic jam during the day. In the night it is "dead". I was combining work and traveling and although I could do my work in the room, I thought the city Debrecen was not worth to visit.

If you want to put the cherry on top of this gorgeous appartement: The kitchen equipment (cutlery) would benefit from a little upgrade, the lighting could be a bit more cosy (warmer lights) and the internet could be stronger.

This is my worst experience ever . I stayed in room number 2 which I don't recommend for anyone at all . The bedroom has no AC and if you try to open the windows you will get a lot of mosquitos because the windows have no mosquito nets. There is an upstairs floor which was so weird,.. once you go upstairs you will find a shower without a curtain or shower cabinet so each drop of water will be on the ground during your shower. There is no desk , the facilities are so poor .

The description on booking is not accurate. It's an ensuite room in a guesthouse, not a 1 bedroom apartment and some of the pictures are of a separate space. Fridge freezes everything, it's too cold, and you have to wash up in the small sink in the bedroom. I still enjoyed my stay, if the description was accurate my rating would be higher.

As above. The facilities inside looked okay but a bit old. There was no TV either! I couldn't spend the night and ended up doling out for a different place to stay. I didn't spend a day there, but lost all my money. Booking.com should be held accountable for putting such poor accommodation on their website. Refund part of my money!

The pictures tell a lie. It doesn't reflect how bad it is. First impressions count, and as you walk in, the entrance is dirty and could do with some cleaning and a touch of paint or two to make it more welcoming.
