A beautiful mansion presented a delightful sanctuary. The charming lady owner of the property was sweet and hospitable. We arrived in the late evening and she helped us to find a nice place for dinner in the nearby village. The breakfast was delicious, especially thanks to the hand made jams. Not directly connected, but the Waze app didn't work smoothly for us, we have a problem locating the property.

The personalized breakfast in a living room setting was one of the best we've ever had, with all locally sourced ingredients. The staff were very friendly and helpful, attentive to all of our requests. The guest house and property are also incredibly idyllic, plus there are four friendly and gentle dogs who made the place seem even homier.

If the impressive pool were heated in the wintertime, this would probably be the best place to stay for anyone looking to be close to Lisbon but not in the city itself. Some additional recommendations: fresh flowers instead of plastic ones in the room and throughout the property would give a more personal "welcome" to the space, better and fresher choices for teas in the coffee corner in the kitchen (which guests can use whenever), and perhaps cereal and yogurt added to the breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay at Arrabida Heritage in Azeitao. The property itself is truly beautiful, with traditional Portuguese architectural elements, but modernized and refined. It is tucked away in the village but easy to find when arriving from the airport by car. The hosts were gracious and responsive, the room clean and comfortable with plenty of light. We were also able to chill in the large common space of the property, where there was a working fireplace every evening and comfy sofas. Breakfast was generous with good coffee, fresh bread and pastries, a variety of local cheese and freshly squeezed fruit juice. The host invited us for a pleasant family lunch on a stormy January 1, 2023, when many restaurants were closed, and it was a good idea to stay in. We really appreciated this gesture.

loved the backyard with the pool.the room and setting were very charming… all four dogs were great fun to be around..listening to Moana snore while we enjoyed the moon and wine :) the lady helping out with breakfast and everything was really nice… the owners were very helpful with our stay…

A warmer pool.

Wonderful location in the heart of Azeitao. Easy to get to the beaches, downtown, restaurants, and attractions. The location is wonderful in a beautiful farm with horses and other animals. It also has a great pool, the word bit cold, but a great place to lounge. Breakfast was excellent served by the nice Ecatarina.

The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, with a lovely swimming pool. The accommodation was well presented, very clean with interesting artefacts and art work. The breakfasts were amazing, with fresh local produce. The host and the family were very friendly and helpful, giving recommendations about local resteraunts.

If you have a problem with (big) dogs, you may want to reconsider. They are lovely, but do ask for attention. Unfortunately last night they were outside and decided to have a barking match with some other dogs in the neighborhood! This kept us awake for a number of hours.

No warm welcome or explanation on arrival. Received the key and the owner sat down and didn’t pay any attention anymore. We had to ask how it worked with the breakfast ourselves. Were promised to receive advice for restaurants, and to have a look at the horses. But never received/did. We did not feel very welcome, we felt like the owner preferred us to just sleep in the room and leave, and not ask too many questions. Place itself is ok-ish, but too expensive and the people need to take some lessons in hospitality. For this money we’d prefer not to stay in a dog kennel.

Room ok, pool looks bit outdated. 4 big dogs walk in the garden, hair everywhere and poop as well. Breakfast / cleaning lady is very friendly.
