the elevator for some reason changed floors, selected 6, it went there stopped for a second then down to 4 for no obvious reason. only 1 of the wardrobe doors was lockable. and the timeframe for room service wasn't super clear.

price and location was good, public transport was decent too and once the tramline is finished will be better

The main issue with the hotel was the heat. The hotel staff provided a standing fan that helped but the room temperature was too high and sleep was compromised.

Hotel Wilanow is located in a quiet recidential area close to the Wilanow palace. The area hosts also some embassys and headquarters of international companies. The room was simple but up to my standards, with a huge bathroom. All the necessary things were provided.

When arrived on site, the parking gatekeeper was quite rude with us. We didn't know that the that fenced parking is not for the hotel guests. He couldn't speak English (that's not an issue) to explain that we cannot enter the parking, but using exaggerate gestures and shouting to us we felt unwelcomed and guilty that we dare to stop in front of the parking barrier. The problem was solved with the help of the (kind) receptionist lady who shown us the parking places reserved in the street for the hotel usage.

The hotel is quite far from the city center. However, it is within 15-minute walking distance from the Wilanów Palace, which is a must-see landmark, and the area generally seems calm and safe.

The place was super clean. It was among the most economical options for a private room I could find for my dates. The staff was nice and helpful, speaking English. Necessities like towels, shampoo and even electric kettle were provided. There is coffee and snacks machine in the lobby.

There was no air conditioner or electric fan in my room. Not very hot because lots of wind blowing through window. Far from city centre but many bus passed by.

The hotel situated at residential district. A supermarket was just across the road and some cafes & supermarkets nearby. Not far walk to near bus stop. Price was good with big room. Relaxing and beautiful park along small river was near the hotel.

I did not receive VAT invoice although I have asked for it 2 times. The person at the reception promised to me it will be sent to me via email and I did not receive it, so if you are traveling for business reasons keep this issue in mind. Everything else was very good.

Let's put it simple: this place is not a hotel, but a student hostel / dormitory. This was the most disproportionate "value" for money in my booking.com experience. For more than USD 130 (PLN 520) per night for a double room, the level of service was extremely low. Unhelpful and untrained staff at the reception. At arrival, the exact answer for the "Can we please check-in?" question was " Maybe." The smaller or more serious annoyances would be long to list here. After checking out, they were unable to print an invoice and after several days I still don't have it via e-mail either. I guess, I will never have it. For the price, this place is to be avoided, brings a shadow on the otherwise excellent booking.com reputation.

First of all, it should not advertise themselves as a hotel, but more of dormitory. The walls betweet rooms and shared space are paper thin, so it was not so lovely hearing and smelling the cooking of other guests at 10 p.m. or hearing guitar playing and singing at 1 a.m. The sink in the bathroom was leaking on the floor so we opted out to use shower as our sink because of the water on the floor and the carpet was pretty dusty. The shared space between rooms (the kitchen and other cooking amenities) had fruit flies all around and a strong smell (probably poorly ventilated).

There always was street parking around the hotel, the room had enough space for two people, the bed was comfortable.

The bathroom had a leak so the floor was flooded. We told the reception but they didn’t do anything about it. Also, we asked the receptionist late at night for extra towel and toilet paper but they said they can’t because their supply room was locked.

The room was spacious and the receptionist was warm and welcoming.
