Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandSome questionable decoration choices in the main room. Location is ok, you're not far from trainstation but it's a bit of a walk home from Krupowki if you're tired in the evening after a long day hiking and had a couple of beers. All very minor complaints though.
Extremely good value. We were a group of three friends and ended up paying less than 60zl each for a shared room. That's pretty much the same price as a bunk in an eight-bed dorm in a cheap hostel. Beds were surprisingly comfy, bathroom was clean with a good shower, lovely sunny balcony for a coffee in the morning. Shared kitchen downstairs was clean, there was a table tennis table in the common room and a BBQ outside. Very friendly dog in the courtyard who welcomed us to the venue and wanted to play football. Owner was very helpful in communications via text. We ended up staying an extra night.

United KingdomOn site secure car park and great location from town centre about a 15 minute walk to centre which was a big plus and also as you walk out of the property you had a Zabka store, room was clean and would recomend great value for money, it was nothing fancy but it was very clean depending which side your room is you get a decent view of the mountains.

LithuaniaEverything was within expectations, apart for a few things: 1. The room had a weird smell (reminded me of heavy alcoholic smell) upon check in. 2. The only trash can is in the bathroom. 3. The staircase did not seem have automatic light, so it was harder to navigate at dark. 4. A thing to consider if you're a light sleeper: there's a rather busy street by the windows, where cars, buses amd and heavy trucks like to speed, so it's noisy until late evening and again in early morning.
The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The view was beautiful.

UkraineYou have to note that the towels smell extremely dirty (smelled like it had been used thousand times before) and the shower is also dirty. Room corners are also dirty. The furniture is worn out. Also, the woman who is in charge at the hotel (even though she seemed nice at first), she behaved not really client-friendly. In fact, we were mistaken by the fact of the double payment in favour to the property. That is because our train tickets costed exactly the same price as a hotel and we thought that we paid for the hotel twice (second time in cash). When we tried to understand the situation and asked her about the double payment, She literally told us that we were liars. I would like to have more client-friendly attitude because there should be at least some respect to the customers as well as belief that they could be mistaken. Calling them liars is not OK. But for its price it is what we expected.
The property has nice location. There is kitchen on the first floor and table tennis which we didn’t use.

Ukrainethere is no air conditioner in the room. balcony above a very noisy street. there is no partition between the balcony of the neighboring room, you could simply walk between them. it was scary to leave things on the balcony. construction near the hotel. it is difficult to contact the hostess at night and early in the morning

RomaniaThere's no ventilation in the bathroom, the water heater wasn't plugged before we arrived, we noticed it after a quite cold shower. Well the mountain view isn't really true for that room honestly. You barely see it.
The location is good, everything is easily accessible. It's clean and quiet, you can't really find a cheaper place in Zakopane. It's a basic room, but perfectly fine for a night or two. The check in is easy, the host is helpful.

LatviaWhen we were checking in we discovered that somebody left an unfinished cup of tea in our room 😀 there was also a problem with WiFi. Although there are hanging on the wall on each floor, the internet with the password provided by the property only worked on the ground floor and there was no possibility to get wifi in our room on 3rd floor.
It was relatively close to the center, the room was clean. There is kitchen for everyone to use on the first floor and a refrigerator on each floor.
