Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UkraineThe most annoying and disturbing aspect of our stay was loud fire alarm that rang twice in the matter of 2 days. Both times it was because someone smoked in their room (as we were told at reception). Besides, when we were moving in the apartment we noticed that the door wasn't locked which was a little suspicious and strange to us. Speaking of apartment itself, there was an iron but no ironing board.
The location of the apartment was quite convenient (close to the tram station as well as a bus one). Bed was pretty comfy and cozy too (soft to sleep on). The majority of kitchen appliances were provided. Clean, spacious and comfortable for short-term stay.

Near the apartments there is a road with busy traffic. Because it was hot, the window was constantly open and it was extremely difficult to sleep with such noise

PortugalThe room is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. The glass between the bedroom and the bathroom was dirty and smudged, and one of the bedside lamps was broken. The electricity sockets were inconveniently located so in order to charge my phone in the bedroom I had to move the bed a bit away from the wall. One socket didn't work at all.
The bed was big and comfortable. There was a big desk that was very convenient for working. The kitchen had all the basic appliances. The staff was friendly and helpful.

For the amount I paid the room is too simple. Also, check in is at 16;00(!!) and check out 11:00. Maybe soon they will check in only for a night hours 😡

PolandAdministration was very unorganised. I could not get into my room. During the online check-in I was not sent my room number or the code so I asked for the code myself but did not realise I had no room number. I arrived at 8pm so I had to ring them asking about it. It was solved very quickly with just a single call and the lady on the phone was very polite. I got all the information I needed, BUT please remember if you are going to stay here ask them to send you your room number AND the code to it over on booking.com or WhatsApp since it will save you a lot of problems, even if this is something they should sort out themselves.
The room was nice and comfortable. And the actual stay was pleasant and convenient with the distance from the concert hall being only 20 mins on foot. For the price I think it was a good place to stay for 2 nights.
