Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOur room had two doors, which were next to the kitchen and dining room meaning it was really noisy from the start of breakfast time and didn't give us much privacy. Our room didn't have a window, just a shutter above the door. There are more rooms further back which would probably have been better and quieter to stay in. Our room was in a WiFi dead zone - it would connect and then cut out frequently. Although the dog is lovely, he barks a lot at night.
The reception, living room and dining room were decorated really nicely with antiques. The hosts were very friendly and maintained a clean space. The garden was nice and their dog and cat were very friendly.

IrelandWe stayed almost 2.weeks at Samanai Wasi and we loved it. Very comfortable,. spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Lovely garden to chill in, almost every day we saw some hummingbirds there.. Caring, friendly and attentive host, we felt like staying with a family. Great location, nice safe neighborhood with plenty good local restaurant with low prices around. Also,.we.loved their dog - Doggy - and kitty - Tommy. Plus, they cleaned the rooms every single day - it was a real treat to come back dsily to a freshly cleaned, nicely smelling room. Definitely recommended!

ItalyThe toilet was a bit small and not enough for six people, but still for a short stay in the city is ok.
The place is cozy with a nice common room and garden. The room is ok and very warm, as well as the water which was hot (not usual in Perù). The owners are great, they welcomed me at late night and we had a chance to talk during breakfast, that was good as well. I felt like home, Isabel is super nice, she gave me many recommendation and advices, would be lost without her!
