Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IsraelI booked a room for three according to the picture on booking. When I arrived I was offered another room because the room I booked was occupied. The room offered to me has no window and is dark. Then I got a room for four. A fourth bed was separate. We have been asked not to use this section. So we got a room with 3 very tight beds. Everything was very basic. But actually given the price it was to be expected. Very basic breakfast. Rooms without windows. Absolutely nothing like the pictures posted on the website
We chose this hotel because it is adjacent to Beit Chaved. The staff are wonderful. They helped Hana with everything we asked for. They let us into the room ahead of time

United StatesMarina's House staff was amazing. Our host and staff took great care of me and my family group which made our experience unforgettable! The location is great' It's located a few minutes walk from the San Pedro Train Station, and close to Cusco's main tourist attractions. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and Marina's house was very attentive to our requests and needs.

TurkeyThough it was clean but lots of long hairs in the bathroom, I also did not like the way they use the blanket. The cover on blanket was one-sided and knowing that blanket has not been washed regularly was disturbing. No wardrop or table to put the luggage etc, let alone having a fringe!
The room was big, Having tea and/or coffe was a pleasure, though the water wasn’t hot all time!

United StatesProbably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I paid for 4 nights here but ended up getting another hotel after 2 nights, no refunds were offered or given by either booking.com or Marinas House at 611 Vitoque. I hear they’re also on airbnb but maybe under a different name that they change every so often if bad reviews stack up. The bad: NOISE is definitely the worst thing about this hotel. I did not expect luxury when booking this place. All I wanted was a place to shower, sleep, and use as a home base for exploring Cusco and the nearby attractions. Unless you sleep like a rock where loud conversations won’t wake you, you won’t get to sleep through the night. On my first night, a couple across the street started arguing at 1AM and it went on for at least half an hour. Then there’s the sound of the doorbell that goes off at random hours because guests have no way of getting back into the hotel by themselves. The doorbell chime is loud enough that it echoes through the main doorway and every room in the house can hear it when it’s rung. The floorboards are also old and creaky so they make a lot of noise when you walk over them, which is fine if you’re on an upper floor, but terrible if you get a room on the 1st floor. SMELLS of sewer gas from the bathroom was a constant annoyance for my group of 3. It was most noticeable when inside the bathroom, but could be smelled while inside the room as well. This is due to the poor construction quality of the rooms being added at seemingly random times and places by different builders over time. The construction quality of this B&B also raised concerns for me since pipes popped out in the most random places and the ceiling is just a piece of thin plywood. I highly doubt any work went through formal review or architectural processes. LINEN QUALITY is poor. All the sheets, pillows, and blankets were piling and there was hair on my sheets before I even got into them.
The good: LOCATION is great. Some may argue the price is great too, but for my group it ended up being a costly mistake because we couldn’t get sleep here.
