Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaThe afternoon traffic in Lima can make it slow to reach the hotel, but it's not their fault.
The kind staff patiently were available for mourning late arrival and gave us a detailed description of what to expect and when. They gave us advice on excursions to take. The room was beautiful, well equipped, and very clean. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and other attractions in Miraflores. The breakfast was excellent as well, and the kitchen staff were very kind to us.

AustraliaMy timing was unlucky as another restaurant next door was having some renovations so from 8am to 5pm constant loud building work noise but no problem at night, very quiet.
Very comfortable and spacious. Great breakfast, and a restaurant for pizzas and lasagna at the entrance. Walked to archaeological pyramid site, very 👍, and felt safe walking at night. Even visited nearby casino which was where I was robbed, but self inflicted.

United StatesI think the carpet in our room is due for replacing, but that was the only thing that I would find wrong with the room itself. Everything else was great.
The hotel staff was very friendly, and the room was perfect for our stay. I think they were small apartments and then converted into a hotel room, so it was great to be able to have a small kitchen to prepare meals in. The hotel was in a great location and everything within the area was within a 15 minute walking distance.
