We arrived in a hot day and the cabin was a smouldering oven, without possibility of cooling down other then opening the windows. I didnt sleep well. I know the summer season is short, but still a small Aircon would be useful for people like me who have a hard time with warm environments. The proprety otherwise perfect, but without a good night sleep it really doesnt matter

Amazing traditional fisherman's cottage on a picturesque island a short walk from the centre of Svolvaer. This was the centrepiece and highlight of our 10 day roadtrip across Lofoten and northern Norway - perched on the side of an island containing two "hotels" - this one and a Scandic hotel, plus a restaurant. The room we had was comfortable and cosy for the arctic summer - a sofa and two armchairs made up a seating area with a large modern TV, and a kitchen area allowed you to cook and eat in comfort should you want to. The bedroom had a huge comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The place is beyond beautiful with amazing views of the town, the sea and harbour and Floya mountain that overlooks Svolvaer. The hotel has a sauna located in one of the cabins which can be booked out at no extra cost and is reserved for you to give you privacy. Breakfast was beautiful served in a large room in the reception building, or as we were blessed with incredible sunny weather you can sit outside and enjoy it alfresco.

Because my bedroom was on the ground floor, and the ground floor is low, there was no privacy - tourists passed under the windows. For the same reason, I couldn't sleep with the window open, because I didn't feel safe enough.

Huge selection for breakfast, very friendly service, great location in the center. Close to a supermarket and bus stop (approx. 10 minutes on foot).

Our rorbu was situated opposite the restaurant, so that could be a bit noisy during summer evenings when everybody is on the way home. Breakfast room had a large tv-screen with Lofoten-advertisement (no need for that during breakfast). Free parking limited close to the rorbus.

Spacious rorbu in the middle of Svolvaer, with a cozy mix of tradition and modern. Comfortable beds, good breakfast and a fast check-in. Parking possible just in front of the house.

Anker Brygge was AMAZING!!! We loved everything about it! It was comfortable, beautiful and modern amenities. The location and views were breathtaking! The sauna is n absolute must! We will surely come back!
