When I entered the house, it was not that clean. So I had to do some cleaning myself. It is not a big deal, but when you arrive in the hotel room you expect it to be clean. This must be improved!

I think that location is wonderful. It is close to the seaside. The air is fresh and revitalizes the body's energy. I like staying there.

There was no staff at the check-in and no one replied to my email when I requested to rent towels. For future guests the linen package does not include any towels and apparently they need to be rented seperately but there was no one there in reception during our stay to get any.

The location of the property was great for visiting the tulip fields and the beach by bicycle.

The service is very basic, linen is in plastic bags and you need to make your own bed and then leave everything completely clean, including gathering bed linen in pillow cases in the hallway, wash, dry and put in cupboard all dishes, sweep the floor, take trash to dumpster etc. That is ok, no problem here, except that when we arrived, we could not get into the room not even a minute earlier because it was being cleaned (according to the rules, the earlier guests should have done that already hours before) and we spent almost 2 hours outside in the drizzle (with children). Yes, rules are important but they are not all there should be. There were no bicycles to rent (all gone) - rent ahead. Also don't come without a car, there's no public transport. Taxi costs like you're buying it, Uber/bolt come with great difficulty. We walked a lot. We didn't try the pool, they told us the water is cold.

The cottage was comfortable, there are playgrounds for kids. We received daffodils at check-in and there is a bread bus every morning. The restaurant there is very good but only open in the afternoon.

The accommodation was fine but lacked a little care. Things like a cheap plastic jug had a broken handle, the clock needed a battery, there was no tea towel; little things but together they caused irritation. It isn't clear that there are extras to pay on top of the accommodation price and although we had been made aware of the need to pay for sheets and towels after booking we were surprised to find that the figure we were quoted didn't include towels! So another 60 euros to pay!

Location was great for visiting Keukenhof and enjoying the festivals.

The double bed was two twins pushed together, so there was a gap in the middle!

Comfortable stay for 4 people in the 5-person Comfort accommodation. Well-equipped kitchen. short trip to the beach, flower fields and the Keukenhof. Very friendly staff :) Nice family pool. We loved the morning bread van!

cleanliness leaves much to be desired, a lot of dust under the beds, the carpet at the entrance uncleaned, ants in the kitchen and living room. the hotel restaurant staff is extremely rude, and the restaurant policy leaves much to be desired

There were a number of things we didn't like. I sent multiple messages via Booking.com and never once got a personal reply. The procedure for late check in was unclear and after-hour phone numbers didn't work, so we were quite afraid we wouldn't be able to check in until reception was open the next day. I didn't expect luxury so was fine with the quality of the cabin furniture, appliances etc. but found the lack of basic supplies (or requirement to pay extra for necessary items) so annoying. No hair dryer, soap, bath mat, towels, salt and pepper, paper products (including toilet paper) etc. If you're driving from home this may be ok because you can pack extra but coming from the airport this required us to do lots of shopping and then produced lots of waste. A staff member unexpectedly came to our cabin before check out to collect baby items and was rude to me when I opened the door and spoke English instead of Dutch. Also the onsite restaurant was quite expensive for being paired with such basic accommodation. Overall, I personally wouldn't stay here again but do see some of the value it has for others.

The location was excellent for exploring the nearby flower fields by foot or bike and driving to Keukenhof Gardens. The pool, indoor and outdoor playground, and outdoor air bouncer were a real treat for the kids. Though the neighbors were close, it was quiet at night.
