Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomReception staff not very friendly. When you arrive just given key card no explanation as to what is in the area and facilities offer in the hotel. Shower needs a door water comes out. Toaster needed at breakfast time and larger mugs in rooms for drinking teas and coffee.
Great location close to shops and attractions. Walking distance to central station 15 mins

United KingdomWhen we got to our room the coffee/ tea tray had not been replenished had to catch the chambermaid in the morning. Breakfast was quite a walk away within the hotel and was cold and overpriced. Asked for an iron to be left in our room and it never arrived.
Secure and Modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful when you could get their attention.

The hotel is surrounded by multiple restauration options, and the area is a lot of fun. There is something for everyone.

TurkeyI could not see any wheelchair or stroller access at the entrance (only stairs). The room that gave to us had no working air conditioner. We changed rooms several times but all the rooms were same. I am not sure if this was same at all rooms or the rooms at our floor. Since the air conditioner was not working the room was cold for us.
The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The hotel also has a service to rent a bike so you did not need to look for a one. The hotel was located in a nice area.

RussiaShelves and hangers should be better fixed - once i've put towel on the hanger in the bathroom and it ended up in my hands. Luckily it didnt fall, otherwise it could break the floor i suppose.... the same with the black shelve close to the mirror - it was barely fixed and when i put a bottle of water on it, it dangeriously moved down
The hotel was really nice - clean, with perfect location. Breakfast was available for extra money, however there are many places around too. The room was clean and cozy, really liked the place. Could even say the level of the hotel was very close to Mariott i stayed before in the Hague

LuxembourgThey asked me to pay for late checkout. 15 euros an hour. I think that's unreasonable, given the price of the room already. Also given that there was no parking. I wanted a late checkout, 1 pm instead of 11am, so still way ahead of the 3pm check in so they have enough time to get the room ready. I needed the late checkout because i had to find a doctor immediately, but that did not move the front desk to help me out. Not very human, for a hospitality business. The hotel is good, but I'm not going back, if I have the choice.
The room was good, and the location was excellent. Very central and close to loads of restaurants and nightlife. Very happening.

Mostly excellent breakfast choices but would have appreciated fresh fruit eg oranges and prunes or blueberries for wider selection. Small point - but granola is sugary...porridge oats and raisins to sprinkle would be more healthy! Only minor things but I have medical advice to eat lots of fibre. My week was great overall.
Bright,modern yet very comfortable with great lighting in the rooms and excellent TV choice of channels....very helpful for English speakers.Cheerful and efficient young staff.Lovely,welcoming lounge and bar at reception. Excellent hotel for a solo traveller.
