The public bathroom was a bit difficult (there was never hand soap in the toilets, and the sink in one of the two was not working altogether). We also had some difficulty with the nighttime receptionist (she was quite rude to us when we asked for a simple accommodation for religious reasons).

It was super cute, felt like an authentic canal house, and the location was absolutely excellent. The owner was so wonderful, kind, and helpful, it was a pleasure to be greeted by him!

A couple of minor things, the towels were a little worn, there was no mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom and the lighting in the bathroom was poor.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff, a bright clean room with a lovely view over the canal. In a great location for getting around Amsterdam, close to tram stops, bars and restaurants. Good value and we really enjoyed our stay!

Tea, coffee, milk and a kettle should be in your bedroom. I had to go and ask for tea in the morning and pay 2 euros for a tiny cup!

When we complained about a couple of things that weren’t working in our room they fixed them the next day.

The stairs are a bit too steep so if you have big luggage, you better prepare yourself for a workout. The bathroom is not very convenient since it's located outside the room, but I guess this is how things are in most hotels in Ams as far as I understood. Still wasn't a bad experience with the bathroom, but definitely would have loved it more if it was located in the room instead. There was some noise coming from next buildings but I guess it was a wild week because the King's day celebrations so it was okay.

The room is convenient for solo travelers like myself, it's small but it does the job. The bathroom is located outside the room, so you must remember to keep the key with you all the time so you don't lock yourself out, the bathroom was clean everytime I used it which is great. The staff are exceptionally nice and respectful, the Irish lady was super sweet and nice (sorry, I didn't catch her name), same goes for the other lady, I would definitely book again. I was amazed by the convenience of the location, it's literally in the middle of the action if you are going for leisure, highly recommended.

Beds are not that comfortable, specially for the third person, the bed was way too soft and wired.

The host was very nice and friendly. Location was perfect. Although we had a room with a shared bathroom, it was completely fine, clean and it was not crowded at all. Room is spacious with a nice balcony.

You have to walk 20 meters down the corridor to get to the private bathroom. You can hear everything going on in other rooms. There were stains on the bedding and towels. The hair dryer was not working.

The private external bathroom doesn’t lock from outside so anyone can use it . And they did, cause we found the flush broken two times when we would come back from our walk . The doors shut very loudly . The windows don’t close fully so cold air comes in. Very small

Good sized room, basic, but very clean. A good sized shower, room is spacious, and the staff - especially the Irish lady who lent us umbrellas were friendly. Great location for sightseeing on the canals.

The windows were old and in combination with the humidity, rooms got pretty cold especially during the night. Also you cannot use their shared WC on the first floor if you’re even a little claustrophobic.

The staff was mostly polite, especially the gentleman with the glasses.

We wanted a double bed but there was no one available. They tried to make a double bed by combining two small beds, but it didn't work.

The people in charge were very friendly. It has a central location and allowed us to walk to many places. The hotel was quite clean.

The only little complaint, we didn’t get any shower gel or shampoo and the soap was almost empty.

Located in nice area, everything was so close. Clean and warm apartment. I want to praise the staff, they were very hospitable and even let us check in earlier. The woman at the reception was so communicative and want to help about city.

The female owner was very rude, made us want to leave the hotel. We didn't feel welcome at all. On the other side, the male owner was really nice and we liked him a lot.

Hotel was clean, the balcony was pretty and the location was great.
