Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesSimple, clean no frills place right near the train station in Enschede. I was coming by car, and it was easy to park near the train station until 9am for free. Great value.

PolandA very strange entrance from the street side. Numerous stairs and almost hidden small lift//The guests coming by car should know that PARALLELWEG leads to the underground garage //Lack of signing for the emergency route in the lowest part of it. Suddenly, on the level where stairs get narrower , there is NO further sign and the 2 doors you see are locked. Your key-card doesnt work. In the case of panic and fire ... ( easy to imagine ) . It concerns the staircase at the western side, the side of the railway tracks. // No clear information that only the left lift goes to the underground garage. (The tiny silver button isnt enough). // The room door ,floor 4, requires force which kids or elderly people havent.
The room, bed and win dow.

United StatesThe parking is tight and there are limited spots. I’m so happy i reserved a spot in advance. I ordered a mimosa and was told I’d have to pay for the entire bottle of champagne…i cancelled my mimosa. 😆
The property was clean, up-to-date and close to sooo many restaurants and activities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our view of the city was amazing!

NetherlandsThere are no major negative points, but just to mention a couple of issues: -1- The doors in the rooms close very noisy due to a spring mechanism. When someone in a nearby room closes the door you can hear it very loudly. I have seen other hotels that have a spring mechanism that damps the sound and the noise is cancelled. May be this hotel should implement something similar. -2- The window in the room cannot be opened. There is not any possibility, it is a fixed frame. Although I have seen hotels with similar things, in general there is at least a small opening or ventilation that can be opened. I know that now the hotel cannot change all windows for that, but I do not know why it was not done like that in the first place. -3- The lobby is quite large and there is a coffee place with many tables and seats, but there are no sofas or places to rest if you wish in the lobby. I think that there should be some re-design to profit better from the lobby area.
Very well maintained and comfortable hotel. Room is good size, very clean, everything working perfect. Restaurant for breakfast is nice with good options. The hotel is located very close to the train station. In fact from the window in my room I was able to see a train track (no sound or noise at all from trains!). Also it is just at the edge of the city centre of Enschede, with lots of restaurants and different places of interest. This hotel is highly recommended.

QatarRestaurant a bit crowded during breakfast time, due to many guests attending an ongoing congress, perhaps could be improved with an alternate place for such cases.

United StatesIt's a bit pricey for a standard hotel but otherwise a great choice to be close to town and train station.
The hotel is right near the train station and close to the town. The facilities are quite modern and the staff were friendly.

United KingdomThe entrance is not on the ground floor. You can go with lift or on stais..
We went there only for sleeping. The room was clean and very quiet. I like the view of the city from the huge window. There was an option to not have the cleaning during our stay, and we got a €5 voucher to spend in the bar, and also €10 when i sign up for free wifi. So for 3 days we got our morning coffees for free. The staff was really friendly at the reception. We didn't try the restaurant.

United KingdomChecked in late afternoon and asked for a taxi to be arranged for 08:30 the next morning but was told to do it in the morning. Did so and there were none available although the duty team did try really hard to find one, it caused an unnecessary delay, however my client was quite understanding so no harm done

United Kingdomonly issue is the inconvenience of the staircase, which isn't necessarily the hotel's fault as it is simply the structure of the building, however there is a lift on the right side of the building if u have suitcases!
can't fault this hotel whatsoever. has a great breakfast buffet, extremely friendly staff, in the centre so train station and shops are walking distance, cleanliness is also great.

United KingdomTo make our stay a little better, larger bath towels would have been appreciated. The ones we had did the job.
Generally a really good hotel, well located with very good staff. The room was clean and comfortable with good sized rooms overlooking the station so we could walk from the train. And close to the centre for shopping. We sued public transport both trains and buses to get round the city and everything was nearby.
