I would suggest putting a bit more effort in making the hotel more bee/butterfly friendly, more wild flowers and less mown lawns. After all, the hotel is located in such a lovely area among nature and forest, why not make it even more beautiful by adding flowers/plants that could do some good for the nature.

I was very happy about the room and the location of the hotel, it's in between the beach and the town, which worked great for me. In addition, bbreakfast room staff was so friendly and helpful every morning, keep it up!

Check out at 10am we thought was way too early. Also, we think they should offer a lock-up room for guests to leave luggage after check out. We could only leave bags in front of the entrance doors next to reception, which didn't feel secure at all so I ended up walking for 1-2 hours with my laptop in my rucksack. Surely they can find one room in this big hotel for people to leave bags. The hotel could also do with some renovation as it is looking a bit shabby.

The breakfast was very nice and generous, The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful. The location is ideal because it is walking distance from the centre of Nes, the beach and dunes. The bus stop is also directly outside the hotel.

We were slightly surprised that the restaurants closed early on a Sunday. However, we consider this part of the adventure of travelling. Also, the hotel room is not totally sound proof - the infinite baby cries were not the ideal lullaby

Great position on the island. It's easy to get around by bike and you are close to the center and beach. The room is clean and provides all things you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful to make sure you have the best stay.

The hotel is located not far from the beach and the village (within walking distance). The building and the rooms are a bit out of date but still cosy enough. We had also a great surprise in our room: a tanning lamp set in the shower. We enjoyed the special feature (free of charge) quite well. The breakfast was also very good

The room didnt have a window to open, just the balcony door. Checkout is early (10:00am). This is also the end time of breakfast. Both a bit early if you’re on holiday.

I would suggest to add a bit more diversity of fruit for breakfast and to work on sound-proof of the rooms.

The hotel is located in a nice village on the isle of Ameland, close to most of the points of interest and well-connected with the ferry terminal and the rest of the isle by bus (besides, it takes about 25 minutes to walk to that very ferry terminal). The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were alright, albeit I think that they tend to be not very sound-proof. The breakfast was not particularly fancy, however, it did the job. I would think that a bit of broader fruit selection won't hurt. There're bikes for rent - and they are decently priced, I would recommend booking them with the front-desk personnel. All in all, we will consider staying here again.

The room we booked was nice and spacious. There were games in the lounge, so we had a nice time playing and you could order drinks. Breakfast was standaard, but nice.

Location was perfect, 1km to the beach and same distance to the city. Very tidy and clean room.Big toilet with shower. It is possible to rent a bike without reservation before. From the hotel you can easily bike, either to the west and east part of island.

Our room was clean, comfortable and large. Good breakfast. Bike rentals were available at the hotel, which was very convenient. Location was excellent - bus stop right in front to get to/from the ferry; beach was a short walk down the road and a great restaurant -- Osorio World's Kitchen (our favorite on Ameland) -- just across the street. Good spot in the middle of the island from which to explore in all directions.

The only thing I would suggest is to put a window in the room; there was only a door & we had a room on the ground floor, the door could not be opened from outside even when open but I would nonetheless suggest a window so when it’s windy & rainy you can still have something smaller open at night for fresh air

The staff is super friendly, room & bathroom were clean! Nice room, beds were comfortable enough. Great breakfast with lots of choices.

We had the room above the back door entrance. Some visitors do bo realize that talking at night is waking up others. But when it was quiet it was lovely to open the window and sleep with the sea breeze.

Nes hotel is perfect located. Close to Beach & festival MadNes location restaurant Sjoerd. Fantasic restaurants close by ( Nobel and many more) Hotel will organize a bike for 20 e a day. Free parking Great way to spend a weekend away.

Small balcony and no seats or table outside, the bed could be a little more comfortable. The breakfast was the same everyday.

The room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, very good location to the beach, town and forest. Had to order in food every night due to covid and the setup was very good to have plates, cutlery and rubbish afterwards was helpful.
