Nice location right in town. The parking garage is fairly close to the hotel and the restaurant was really convenient. Overall it wasn't really trendy, but it wasn't really spendy either. It was just friendly, easy, and comfortable.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Friendly owners and staff and very well located, close to a number of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Use this during a solo bike tour in the Netherlands. Good bicycle storage, Also a bicycle shop nearby.

The owners greeted us like we were criminals because we first entered a door that they keep locked. This door was open and the hotel name was huge above the door, so we assumed it was the entrance, but the owner(?) kept quizzing me about how we entered and told me that we were wrong to come in that way and we should have entered through the restaurant. It was a very unpleasant way to be greeted by a hotel. The instructions for arrival and parking are long and complex.

Sink had a broken button that was sharp to empty the sink. The TV did not have any English channels..needed to keep up with news.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Epping. The owners are superfriendly, the hotel is located right in the middle of the charming city centre of IJsselstein, the rooms are comfy and the breakfast buffet is wonderful too. We'll definitely be back for a third visit. :-)

Quiet location by a canal. Right off of Main Street with shops and restaurants. Clean, basic accommodations, quiet for a nice sleep. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The place is outdated, worn-out and not clean. An enclosed photo shows what you have to look at while using a bathroom. At breakfast one has to look at almost empty trays and consider if I take this slice of ham what will my partner eat. Upon a request trays are re-stock with one or two slices (for all hotel guests).

This hotel has a wonderful location in the centre, on a cosy shopping street, close to a good restaurants and a parking garage. Those are the only positive features. Alas, it is the only possibility to stay in the centre and we wish there were other options and we did not have to stay in the hotel when we visit Ijsselstein.

All was good!

So glad we stayed here and not in Utrecht! A picturesque little high street with cool shops and eateries (and a lovely bar overlooking the canal/river)and the hotel was great with reasonable prices and safe parking nearby.... but just a 30min tram ride from central Utrecht. No fuss, hassle or expense! Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Definitely stay here again!

Set on the main shopping street adjacent the main square and all facilities. Loads of restaurants and bars within 2 minutes walk. Absolutely lovely owners and staff who were extremely helpful. Our party of 8 all arrived by bicycle so having a lockable store for them was a real bonus.

not organised, room wasn’t cleaned well, still had bits in the fridge from previous guest, and rubbish in the room. walls is paper thin so you could hear next door. at the check out we asked if it’s possible to have a espresso to have because it was 8 am and told they don’t have time to make it rather saying give us 5 minutes and we can offer you a coffee.

Location: Free underground parking (between Saturday evening to Sunday morning) in 1 min walk. Right in the center of a beautiful traditional Dutch Town. Room: Nice and comfort. Everything is well equipped and managed. Food: Super nice food just downstairs, friendly people. Very fresh breakfast too.
