The spa: I went for two treatments at the spa which were very expensive. The massage was okay, I have had better, but the facial which was 124euros was really bad. It involved the therapist not purifying (removing blocked pores etc or checking my skin) but instead putting around 50 lotions on my skin e.g. creams, sprays - none had an affect! Then she tryed to upsell more products to me . She also used a device on my skin to test the dryness before and after the treatment which was a total fraud!!!! I had just had a massage with a lot of oil so my skin was definitely not dry but this device showed it was - what a joke! This is really too much to pay for such a treatment - really not worth it and the upsell and fraud skin test left me with a bad feeling that I was being ripped off and lied to. I didn’t want more stress and conflict so didn’t address it at the time as it would have upset me further. But it’s definitely the emperor’s new clothes and one to avoid.

Location, room, facilities swimming pool, bowling, spa and restaurant. We stayed in one of the family apartments and it was really comfortable with a great view.

It seems the hotel has had better days. It is relatively expensive for what you get. A family room had two bedrooms, but one without windows. It was a very expensive room. Too much. The decor is dated. Could do with some renovations. Our hotel rooms had garden view, which meant view of pool roof and bike stalls. Very noisy till 2200.

Location is great, food in restaurants is good. Breakfast buffet is fine.

The airconditioning in the room was broken, and it was very hot in the room. However, to be fair to the hotel, our stay wason the first exceptionally hot days of the year, and they offered a discount on the room with no argument as compensation, and the staff were very pleasant to deal with regarding the matter.

The room had an excellent view of the beach and was perfectly positioned to watch the sunset. The room had plenty of space, the bathroom was well equipped and spacious. The room was very clean when we checked in. The breakfast was very good. The location is absolutely perfect next to the beach

The room had some maintenance issues, specifically some of the door handles were loose, the detachable shower head's holder was loose. The furniture had a lot of chipping around the edges, and the pillows were uncomfortable. The style of the room was fairly plain.

The location was great, right on the beach. The room was clean, furnished in a way that made it feel like a small apartment. The included breakfast was decent, though a bit on the cold side. The bed was large and comfortable (except for the pillows).

When I arrived at the hotel my room was very warm (31°C). Since there was no airco available in the room it was very difficult to get rid of the excess heat, in spite of the much lower outside temperature.

Excellent breakfast with ample of choice. The room was surprisingly quiet. The way the luggage transport to the ferry was handled was very efficient and convenient.

Because of Covid we had just 0:30 minutes a day for the swimmingpool. I understand de reason but 30 minutes is really short.

No towels for swimmingpool, we had to use the one in my room. The 10min slot for breakfast, doesn't make sense. We couldn't have breakfast outside. Could have done with a cleanup/repairs outside e.g. canopy/flowerpots, a little bit run down.

Our room was very hot. We had to check out at 10 o’clock already, but at half past 9 there was someone asking at the door: when will you leave? We felt being pushed out.

The hotel in general is outdated. Therefore the ambience or atmosphere is not great. But if you consider your stay just for a place to sleep, it will do.

The location is perfect at the beach. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The room is large. We had dinner at the beach club in front of the hotel (Badhuys Vlieland), which was very nice! Good atmosphere and good food.
