Bathroom cramped and more effort could have been put to cleaning it. Stayed 3nights and room wasn't cleaned once. For the price, furniture could be more appealing.

The bathroom was pretty small. Also our room wasn’t exactly clean, to the point that we asked for new sheets even to change them ourselves if they couldn’t clean it or move us to a new room. We never got the clean sheets. There were also crumbs & other things in the floor that were in the room when we got there.

The location is great! The staff mostly speaks English which was helpful.

Bathroom was very small, location of the toilet next to the shower made it quite difficult to shower and not wet the toilet etc Rooms could have been abut more spacious and the bedding wasn't on the bed entirely neatly

The shower literally fell on my daughter, the rooms need serious repairs done. The tiles were lose . There was no remote for the t.v . Very small windows . Steep stairs but thats everywhere. There was an empty beer can qnd tissues left in the room.

The staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable. There is a great breakfast at the supermarket right behind the hotel for 2.5 euro per person and we were full. It's about 10 min walk from shops and Central Station.

The rooms are quite small but if you are staying only for few days, it is okay if you are just sleeping over.

The vicinity of the supermarktet is great, and people working there are friendly. It is not the closest thing to Amsterdam, it is actually in Zaandam, which is a neighbouring city to Amsterdam.

The room did not smell pleasant, the walls were thin, it was not well equipped, the fridge did not work and the bed was not clean.

The hosts were super helpful and friendly, and the location was perfect!

the bathroom was dirty, the room smelled bad. room doesn’t even come with a coffee machine, it just feels like you are in a box for the price you pay you’d expect more! the door handle for the bathroom was broken from the inside, the toilet seat is sideways

the property is a short walk from the center and there is a supermarket nearby where you can purchase breakfast at the cafe for 2,50 the staff were nice

The room was not clean especially the carpeted floor and the hand towel was dirty and one of the big towel was new and not washed so my body was full of cotton after taking a shower. The window is too high so even if we were in the 3rd floor it feels like we were staying in the basement and its dirty as well

The staff is fantastic and accomodating. The location is great, near the centruum and very near the grocery store where you can take a mouthful/soulful breakfast and lunch in a very reasonable price (cheap and tasty)

Depending on your luck, you may have soap in the room, because the soap/shampoo dispenser was manifestly dismantled (stolen?) and so far replaced by shampoo bottles. More importantly perhaps, the room could certainly benefit, first from more thorough cleaning, and then from some lil basic stuff such as hooks or rails to hang jackets/coats/towels. Crucially, I wish there was a thermostat in the bathroom, since it wasnt easy to set the right temperature (and bumping the handle to literally burning showers is not much pleasant).

LOCATION: The hotel is located a bit away from hypercentre, however its not much of a problem thanks to Amsterdam efficient transport system. Instead of the 30+ (minimum) bus commute (with fair amount of walking before and after the bus ride), a better alternative option (but somehow not suggested by several apps) is the frequent, more flexible, 13min train ride from Centraal to Zaandam stn, and 15min walk from station to hotel. The hotel sits in a quiet and residental neighbourhood of Zaandam, pleasant to walk around (and recommended), with few options to eat out/takeaway right next door. ROOM : the ensuite room is simply furnished with just a small fridge and TV, towels provided. STAFF: staff members I came across were smily, helpful and provided useful advice, so kudos to them. Bikes are freely available from the hotel. Overall, the hotel made for a fair experience, maybe not ideally located but easily accessible enough if you use the train (and not the bus option suggested by googlemaps) and accept a bit of walking. I personally spend most of my day exploring and only come to a hotel to rest overnight so I did not mind the hotel being away from centre. For me, it was a good value for money due to late checkin time, and also it was half the price of the overwhelming majority of other options in the centre on that weekend I travelled. If you are an individual or a couple, sticking to a budget, more keen on exploring than partying, on a short travelling journey, then this option will get you satisfied.

In our booking, we were told we’d get a washer and we didn’t. Our room was stuffy and not very well maintained- the walls were dirty and there was a hole in the bathroom door. The carpet had sticky stains on it.

Thankful for air conditioning and our own bathroom! The wifi worked!
