The music doesn't go off until 2pm but a few nights it went passed 3am. The base from the speakers just goes through the room. After speaking to staff they did offer to change the room, however, i kinda got used to the noise.

The staff were great and the location too.

Cramped room, dangerous staircase, no room window for city or open view, just go to room to sleep, can hardly spend time in there otherwise

The drinks downstairs in the bar/restaurant are outrageously expensive and I had to climb three flights of stairs which were incredibly steep

Stairs, tiny room, couldn’t open windows, no change of towel on the day before we left, dirty carpet, smelly wardrobe, damageged walls, light fittings missing with exposed electrical parts

The room itself wasn't like the photos placed on booking.com. So I expected something different. The room wasn't cleaned up right, as there were previous take away boxes under the bed (not ours). Some of the lights and safe didn't work. To be fair, you get what you pay for. If you're not planning on staying in the room a lot, then its great.

It was the best location - as everything is near enough. Central station was only 3min walk away. To be fair, you get what you pay for. Staff were really really friendly and helpful.

My brother's room was at the back, it was small and smelled of cooking. A window opened onto the wall of next building but this just let in more cooking smells. On reflection we should have asked if he could change rooms, it really wasn't nice. My room was much better (at the front) but extremely noisy from streets and bars below - but then this is Amsterdam, can't really complain about the noise!

It's a budget hotel so inexpensive.

sometimes the room had a smell,through no fault of theirs,which made us heave on times. but I think all are the same due to the sewer system. Didn’t open window as smell of,what I can only describe as grease/fat was coming in. Could do with some extra pillows too. couldn’t tune tv in so no picture.

The hotel does not look like the photos, neither on the outside or the inside. The stairs leading up to the rooms are so steep that it’s very dangerous to carry heavy luggage up and down. The room itself was small, dark and dingy, the bed had no headboard. The duvet was two small quilts inside a quilt cover which lumped up and looked unsightly. The pillows were of poor quality and we only had three between us both. The view to the outside overlooked a filthy room full of storage and rubbish. The bathroom was very basic with black tiles and a shower that was similar to that of a prison, no detachable head and not much power. Lastly, the carpets were abysmal, they are in dire need of replacing as they’re thin, worn and dirty looking. Throughout our three nights at the hotel, staff did not clean our room or provide us with new towels/toilet roll. One lady said she would return to clean our room when we left at 12 but never came.

The hotel was in a great location, very close to good bars, restaurants, coffee shops etc. There was a bar below the hotel which we did not visit but it was handy to know we could have a drink where we were staying.

Warm welcome and easy check-in check-out . Perfect location. Calm after 1 am (the bar stops the music at 1 am ).

1. It is either change the stairs or build an elevator. Change the carpet in the room cause it looks old.

Room: For the price we pay, it is okay. The stairs is very steep n narrow, would not recommend to bring big luggage, cause will difficult to handle Location: Very convenient, this is the best things about the hotel Bed: The bed was ok, not so bad n not so good. only the carpet a bit dusty, but luckily its not smelly. Staff: The receptionist was attentive and the check in n check out process was super easy n fast.

The room was very small and the lights didn't all work. The light over the bed was broken. For nearly €140 a night I was expecting it to be a little nicer.

The location is fantastic and the staff were lovely.

The bed was very comfortable. It is a great place for those who like partying till late. Bit if you plan to go to bed before midnight the bar under your bedroom have a loud music till late.

booking says it is „soundproof“ but it is not. please change this to „not soundproof“. Hearing music like a speaker is in the room to 1:00 in the night.
