The only critic I have is that it is too cold and there is not the option to slow down the air. It’s understandable in terms of circulation of air as it should be in a cozy space, just be prepared to have a jumper with you.

I loved the space inside the room. I supposed it was too small however I felt it very comfortable and there was enough space (just for me). Toilets always clean. People nice. Location in a strategic area, very central with a tram stop nearby

I wouldn't say that the "room" was clean, there were hair, and stains on sheets. Also a weird smell but I don't if they could do anything about it.

I liked the location, very close to all tourist destinations. The bathrooms were clean, there are shower gel and shampoo. There is a shared microwawe and a kettle.

On one occasion, the light went out completely whilst in the shower, naked.

Overall, you can't go wrong when choosing this very modern conceptual style accommodation for the joy & cosy comfort it brings whether you're young or young at heart(although if you're accidentally prone to clumsiness like me you might be a liability with the alarming implications that a impactful knock on the forehead brings(had to be really mindfully aware of that afterwards for obvious reasons). The pros : once booked via this specific platform site I had the option to choose the bottom capsule as a mature & petite female. Really Comfortable double Bed with convenient socket on either side of the bed. Clean linen & Towels Shared bathroom was hygienically clean throughout(compliments to the City Hub Rotterdam Housekeeping Squad Team:-) with lovely complimentary spa like "Ritual" shower gel (scent was exquisite & thus had a calming effect on the mind & body - nice touches like this in the hospitality industry makes all the difference:-). The other shared spaces like the lobby & lounge areas were very clean and comfortable, I really also appreciated the open feeling throughout the interior design structure with the neat glass panelling on one side of the building and the roof, too - just all around nice chilled vibes! Staff were nice and helpful with the recommendation of a well established Dutch brand of Fast Food, I did really appreciate the *cold Dutch fried potato speciality with the scrumptiously good Truffle Mayo on my last day. * that's how I, personally enjoy them(Dankjewel bedankt Megan). ! The initial thought of a capsule accommodation choice sounds somewhat unappealing to many(myself included) yet this specific Dutch design(I think City Hub chain is a Dutch business) in lovely Rotterdam is superbly thoughtout. The capsule I stayed in felt so cosy & literally felt like a home from home & are surprisingly spacious and perfectly suits the independently minded passing through visitor.

This is a great hotel to stay at when visiting Rotterdam. The room was very comfortable, felt safe and secure, soundproofed and the bathrooms were very clean. The area is nice and felt safe at night too while being close to the train station. When you have the capsule, you don't need a locker since the room itself is locked which makes it very easy to store your belongings.

I couldn’t imagine a better location for my stay in Rotterdam than CityHub. The convenience of being in the heart of the city was unparalleled. The staff were absolutely amazing—available 24/7, always incredibly helpful, and genuinely friendly. The shared amenities were a real highlight, with a well-stocked fridge, coffee machine, and other useful facilities in the communal area. The bathrooms were spotless, consistently replenished with soap, shampoo, and body lotion, and fresh towels were always available for use. As for the sleeping hubs, they were incredibly comfortable and offered some fantastic features. Not only could you connect to the speakers to play your own music or enjoy the curated Spotify playlists by CityHosts, which were fantastic, but you could also change the color and intensity of the lights inside the hub, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The hubs were also well soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. The only minor downside was the strong air conditioning in the corridors leading to the bathrooms, but this was a small inconvenience compared to the overall experience. My entire stay in Rotterdam was truly memorable, thanks to CityHub Rotterdam.

We had an excellent stay at CityHub in Rotterdam! This was our first stay in 'pod' style accommodation, which we were at first slightly sceptical about, but would highly recommend after our experience here. The check-in and check-out process are super easy, the pod itself is cosy and inviting, and all shared spaces are kept exceptionally clean. The location of the accommodation was also fantastic - we were able to access most of the main attractions on foot, as well as an abundance of restaurants, grocery stores, and bars. Very good value for money - I would highly recommend!

Only 1 thing: its a bit strange that everyone knows about drug dealers next to the entrance to cityhub after 7PM. They are like 0.5 meters away from the entrance. They ask everyone if they want cocaine and it feels a bit unsafe cause of that. Everything else was perfect.

This was a very good first experience in capsules. We had enough space for 2 mid sized luggages and plenty of bags.

My only complaint at all is that I quickly learned upon choosing an upper bunk that I'd experience some noise as people walked past my bunk on the floor above. The building is a bit older and has wooden floorboards underneath the carpets that creak as people walk by. It was by no means a dealbreaker, but it is good info to know ahead of time if that's something that may bother you. Next time I'd probably choose the bottom bunk for this reason.

CityHub Rotterdam leaves very little to be desired for the solo traveler. They're located on one of the busiest streets in the city for going out to eat or drink in a very walkable area. Despite being on a busy street noise level was never an issue during my stay. Having a private space to yourself in a hostel feels like a luxury, and with a reasonably comfortable king bed no less! The bathroom facilities were always clean and never crowded. Another highlight is getting to choose between an upper or lower bunk. The building itself is secure, with after hours entry only allowed via an electronic wristband. The wristband also acts as 'payment' in the self-serve lobby bar and at vending machines, with charges posting to your bill similar to hotel incidentals upon checkout.
