The only issue was the shower floor was not levelled properly to funnel water to the drain, and would leak out into the bathroom under the shower doors

We enjoyed the one, ground level, cottage like facility in the side yard of this property. It was a great place to wind down our Europe trip and get to the beach finally, after a month of lousy weather. The room was cozy and light with all the facilities necessary to prepare our own food.

I'm abit of a clean freak and would like there to be a brush and pan for the floor. Apart from that everything is good.x We liked that the bed was so comfortable and all what we needed in the kitchen.

Just one little thing I'd say is that as we were staying 3 days, a fresh towel would have been good but it wasn't a problem.

The stairs are very steep and narrow and difficult to negotiate if you are like me of advanced years. If so suggest you choose a downstairs room.

Great location and real bonus to have off street parking and secure location for the bikes. The room was very nice and we loved having the balcony to sit out on. it is just 5 min walk to the shops and restaurants, 10 mins to the beach and about 20 mins to the circuit.

A great little town near the beach, you can rent a bike and visit the tulip fields. Also frequently buses to Amsterdam. Aquarius pension was great, comfy place, quiet, well equipped and friendly staff.

I like the fact that this is a really small hotel/pension (4 rooms). Everything that I needed was in the room. The host (Marcus) was nice and friendly. It was perfect!

The only downside was that the walls with the other rooms are not too thick, so you could hear some noises. It wasn't too bad though, and I got used to it. Also, the bed was not super comfortable, and there were two duvets instead of one, which was a bit odd.

I stayed at the pension in May 2022 to rest in a quiet place while exploring Amsterdam and Haarlem. The weather was not great during my stay, so I had a walk on the beach but nothing beyond that. Mario and Nicole were very welcoming and helpful, for instance with understanding how to use the parking permit. The pension is a 10 min walk from the station, and another 5-10 min from the supermarket. The room was very nice, good sized for one and even two people, with a lot of light and a nice balcony. It was great to have cooking appliances and being able to make coffee.

Very nice, well equipped room with balcony, in the small kitchenette we had everything what we needed for our short stay. Didnt have chance to say good bye and big thank you, as we were leaving pretty early, but definetely we will come back! Thank you!

I personally would prefer a firmer bed. A little concern that the wood boards on the balcony are a bit rotten.

Only real grumble was that when showering the water did not stay in the cubicle and spread out over much of the bathroom floor. Apart from that everything was great.

The room (Small Room) was perfect, with „sea-atmosphere”, very confortable bed, excellent for weekend in Zandvoort. Very close to the center, but also on quiet street. We will surely come back there :)

a bit clairaudient

Zandvoort was my destination after a bicycle tour from Berlin. The apartment was a perfect place to regenerate and relax. It's a great quiet location with nice hosts. The accommodation is modern, stylishly furnished. The bed was comfortable. The small room didn't feel small due to the large corner windows. Coffee and tea were freely available. It was allowed to park my bicycle safely in the lobby. The position of the property is superb. In a few minutes you are at the beach, city center or train station. I also highly recommend a visit to the Sport cafe Buitenspel. It's a good place to watch soccer games with a good draft beer and great service.

The room was quit cold when we arrived, it took several hours to warm it up. We couldn't remove our shoes because of the cold floor, placing carpets in the room and bathroom could solve this issue easily. The bed's mattress needs to be changed.

Nice surrounding, nice house and welcoming host. City center, shops were close. Train station is 5min by walk.

The room was cold, the heating system was managed by the owner who increased it only the first night after being solicited to do so. We had a very tiny little electric heater which was not enough. No heating in the very small shower... probably this cold in April was unexpected, nonetheless tourists need to feel confortable

The position was good, ten minutes walk from the city centre and from the station. From there a nice 30 minutes train trip straight to Amsterdam central railway station. Zandvoort was a nice surprise.
