“The host was fantastic. Amazing in fact. And the cosy little apartment is very quirky and interesting. In a lot of ways , it was a bit of an honour staying in it. I have never stayed in a conversion like that before. Especially when one considers the artistic idea of hanging the old garage door on the ceiling. You will know what I mean when you stay there. The place is quiet, and very safe. The location was ideal for us, but might not be ideal for others. The kitchenette was pretty basic, but served our needs. And although the bathroom had to be the smallest that I have ever seen outside of a boat, the quirkiness of the stay does offset the size of the bathroom. All in all, an amazing stay. A property that I will always remember for all the right reasons. Especially the free spirit of the host.”

We were cycle touring and it was so nice to be able to cook for ourselves in a proper little kitchen, supermarkets are about a 5 minute bike ride for shopping.”
