It is some distance from the centre of town - which has both positives and negatives associated with it. And the internet was somewhat intermittent in my room.

This was a gorgeous property to stay in, heritage building and lovely rooms. The staff are superb - very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Majestic Melaka Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. There was lack of information on offer - nothing about local history, what to do or even about the hotel dining available, not within the room or offered on arrival. There was no room service. The Master switch in the room we assumed was for all the lights but we discovered it turned off the sockets also! The price quoted for the spa treatment was increased somewhat when paying at check out - be warned!

The room was lovely and the service staff great. The massage therapist at the spa was very good and also lovely.

Our stay at The Majestic Malacca Hotel was an absolute delight. This beautifully restored colonial-style hotel is full of character and charm, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The breakfast served in the hotel's restaurant was superb, and the dining experience at dinner was equally impressive, with a great selection of dishes that matched the luxurious setting. The rooms were spacious and elegantly furnished, providing both comfort and luxury at great value. Located in the heart of old town Malacca, the hotel offers stunning views of the river and easy access to the city's historic sights. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any requests, adding a personal touch to our stay. If you're looking for a tranquil, character-filled getaway in Malacca, The Majestic is an excellent choice. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Sounds from the neighboring room seeped into ours. The hotel info is only available using a QR code. While I understand the merits of being paperless, I would have liked the traditional paper version to be available in the room for easier access.

The room was spacious, airy, and comfortable. There were many choices for breakfast and those we tried were very satisfying in taste and volume. It took about fifteen minutes by foot to walk into the city center, which felt good, as I am into walking.
