Aircon doesn't seem to be working that well, especially the rotating mode. Would be better if the hotel provides basic amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste.

Location was good, just in front of the famous Gaya street (Jalan Gaya). From the hotel, it's just steps away from visiting night markets (Fri and Sat) and the Sunday morning market. The room is generally clean and not that noisy. Water dispenser (hot and cold water) is provided at the corridor outside the rooms. WiFi is generally fine with some intermittent disruption.

The staff are very friendly and the hotel is good value for money. It is located just round the corner from the Gayá Street night and Sunday markets. The seafront is a short walk away with fresh seafood restaurants. Perhaps not the smartest part of town, but lively and bustling with plenty of cafes and restaurants. The Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel does good food. Merdeke Square where you can pick up minivans and shared taxis to Mt Kinabalu is close by.

no complimentary toiletries except for bathing soap.Water heater and water pressure ok but only one bathroom door can use.😀.No iron and hair dryer but you can borrow from receptionist counter.Maybe can replace old towel to new towel.There are cracked walls that may be repainted.

Nice place to stay for short trip..Comfy bed. Cleanliness in room and washroom is satisfactory.Breakfast include.there is an elevator. Location excellent,food nearby.Airport transport from hotel to airport is available.

Wi-Fi didn’t work on floor 3 but was good on floor 1. We had a stain on our bedding, cleaners could have been more thorough but bathroom was clean. Breakfast was ok, good Asian choices but no western choices, could be better by just adding some toast or cereal to give a western option. The breakfast was also cold when we went at 8:30.

Amazing value for money. Comfortable and clean enough room. Great shower, best I have had in south east Asia! actually stayed hot for ages and powerful. The property kept our bags safe for 5 days when we went to Sandakan (Sepilok, river ect) which was super helpful and appreciated. Breakfast included which was good for price. Very central, easy to walk to restaurants shops ect, even to ferry. Only short and cheap Grab taxi from airport.

the breakfast was the lousiest ! food is cold at 0730 ?!! 2 hours later after having the cold noodle, cold eggs, cold tofu, I had diarrhoe ! the so called teh tarik is nowhere near the description ! So ! we didn't take our 2nd day breakfast but went to a neighbouring kopi place which is 100x better !

The street is really noisy. Try the rear rooms if possible. I was always looking for a place where to put and spread my towels out. Renovation still in progress and you can sometimes hear it. Room rate a bit pricy if not booked with booking.com. Maybe also due to the tourist tax.

Tiny room but recently renovated, functional and well organised. The space could be hardly better optimised. Good bedding and clean. Lift and water pomp in the corridor. Hard to tell about soundproof as the hotel was half empty. Everything is working fine (water heater, water pressure, a/c...). Front desk officers are professional and flexible. Check in a bit long. Though it was included, I didn't test the breakfast. Hotel located in the center, in a commercial quarter (many restaurants) and walking distance to the long distance taxi spot (Belud, Kudat, Marudu, etc...). I stayed two nights there.

Family unit of 4. But we were given only 1 set of cup & glass. So we were sharing 1 cup & 1 glass. Also no place to hang out towels in the bathroom.

Overall the place is strategic. I love it’s location. Vicinity to Jesselton Point & Suria Shopping Mall. And also it’s vicinity to eateries.

Our room has no telephone so we have to go to the reception to request for hair dryer, iron etc; hot/cold drinking water self-service outside the room (corridor).

A good stay in a very clean comfy room with good shower heads and window. The location is great for Kota Kinabalu as it is in the middle of town. Though not facing the sea you can walk to the sea view. I have stayed in different accommodation in KK. The best is Le Meridien hands down, but when on a budget this is the best option for a decent stay. The location is not dark at night with a 24 hour Orange shop 2 doors away and a little further away from the red light area. The water dispenser located on every floor is very useful.

The iron should be change for safety in future and also not functional so well took too long to heat and use it . There's also no any small rack in the shower to put toiletries. No any hook to put towel and clothes.

Space is too small even if for solo traveller. I booked earlier but when I arrived they couldn't get my bookings. The breakfast served at 7.30, and I've paid for it (though i mentioned without breakfast in my early booking) but I didn't get to have it as my schedule starts at 7.30. should offer earlier breakfast, 7 at least.

Breakfast is not continental and only local food but it's a Chinese restaurant so cannot argue with that. The toilet sliding door is connected to the shower door so whenever one of them is closed the other is open, it's a bit difficult if you are with somebody you want to have more privacy from.

Clean and modern place. Restaurant next door with breakfast included.
