Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room was very small, it also had a CRT television in the room which was very big and bulky and didn't even work great so was just making the room feel more busy. There were also some questionable stains on the bedding and towels and branding on the towels that made it feel more like a prison than a hotel.
The location here is great, we were on the 6th floor so weren't disrupted by the busy street below. The aircon and wifi both worked well and it was clean enough despite everything being quite old and dated.

United KingdomHad to kill half a dozen small cockroaches in the first couple of days. The shower sprayed water everywhere but was hot and constant under the spray. Air conditioner run off pipe emptied across the wet room floor.
Location is brilliant with many eating places, the night market and public transport links all nearby. Staff were quiet but friendly. Had a lot of character, I liked the fact that the entrance was always crowded, food stalls were right at the door. View of Street from the balcony was constant entertainment. The room had been recently part painted but the hotel decor seemed old and tired but again looked like it fitted perfectly into the area. Great air conditioning

Good budget option in a very good location. Slightly frayed around the edges but everything you need. Room came with a window and a balcony for less than the price of other options around the price level that are all windowless. Staff helpful, happy to print my visa paperwork gratis. Ho and cod water dispensers every floor.
