Great location! Easy self check in and check out. Is just a place to sleep nothing else,. The room I stayed didnt have any ventilation at all, with the AC was ok but something to bear in mind.

Check in was convenient and seamless with instructions sent to you beforehand. We had to check in really late but there was no issues. Located within Georgetown and easy access to everywhere we needed. Room was value for money for 4 pax stay.

first room that we stayed, the room was lacking a bit of space so it was hard to move around with 4 people and aircond was hot but luckily the PIC was quick to action and gave us a free upgrade to a family room so we had more space to move around but the stairs in the family room was hard to walk on because of how limited space on the steps esp its metal so it makes it pain and harder to walk up but overall, a good room and a good stay with the affordable price :)

The floor is a bit dusty. The place is a bit cramped for 2 queen beds. These are just minor parts of of it. Overall, they are all good.

Love how it easy to reach the place. It's just a few steps away from the jetty. The easy self-check in system is really conducive for people who plans on checking in anytime they want.

I know check-in through WhatsApp messages and emails is the norm today, and younger people probably prefer it this way, but I just want to put it out here that for us older folks it can be pretty annoying. You just arrived to a new city, you might not have had a chance to get a SIM card, and you get the check-in info through WhatsApp that you don't have access to. And when we asked for WiFi from the shop assistant in the convenience store downstairs, she said there was no Wifi. It turned out later that of course there was Wifi, she just couldn't be bothered to provide the code. So we went to the restaurant across the street (Boston Cafe, great one), paid for dinner, and could use their wifi, and could access the entrance code. Of course, all of this happened because of the last minute booking I mentioned before, but we could have avoided the hassle if the cashier in the shop were a tad bit less rude. I usually don't complain about behaviour of service people, I know they make very little money, but she was unnecessarily rude to us on two other occasions. Just saying, maybe she doesn't even belong to the hotel. All in all, no big deal, has nothing to do with the hotel facilities.

It's located in the Unesco World Heritage area of Georgetown, within walking distance to everything. Our kids liked that the room had bunk beds. Nice deco in the hallway. We originally booked a different hotel a mile away, but upon arrival we decided that we can't possibly spend 3 nights there, so we booked this one, and literally 10 minutes later we turned up here. The Georgetown Inn turned out to be a lot better hotel at a lot better location for a couple of bucks more. So I recommend this place, it's a great value for money. If I return to Penang, I will book it again.

Rooms are not sound proof so got woken up in the night by a loud group in the corridor who had just arrived back however this is not a fault of the hotel.

Excellent location short walking distance to all main attractions. Communication for check in and check out was detailed and easy to follow. Building felt secure and safe. There is a small convenience shop next door which was useful. Room was as expected, clean and comfortable.

Modern and well equipped accommodation. Jack was really friendly and we had the opportunity to store our luggage before checking in as we arrived really early in the morning.

Room was great, big bed, good aircon and big bathroom and location was perfect for exploring Georgetown. Hosts were contactable on Whatsapp to help us with anything.

Honestly the property was fabulous for what we needed. We knew that we were unlikely to have a window and we do struggle a bit waking up and feeling fresh without natural daylight so if that will greatly impact you then it’s worth noting. We would stay there again though!

Super easy check in, amazing communication with host- they were sooo fast to reply and really helpful with where to go for coffee and help with buses. Shop downstairs was great. Great location for the ferry and easy walk to areas like love lane etc. we loved a coffee shop called Coffee lane which did the most amazing peanut butter toast with eggs- must go!!! Grab was so easy to get everywhere and we got a grab to the national park for a hike and boat ride.
