It is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, it is a guarantee that we will return next year, the staff is very friendly and they help and advise you with plans and anything you need, the cleanliness is impeccable, the rooms are very equipped and comfortable, they make you feel at home.

The self contained flat was perfect for 5 days in playa. The location was great too: less than 10 minutes to the beach and 5th avenue, as well as walking distance to big supermarkets and other great local restaurants. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Roof top was also great to relax on.

The only thing was the living room curtains were sheer. We wanted a privacy curtain like in the bedroom also to keep the sun out when we were sleeping

The staff was the absolutely best!!! Shout out to Gina (Georgina)! She was like n instant friend and loved my kids so much! The entire staff helped with taxi service, best eats, and activities. The bed was super comfy and the place was cute and clean. I could have lived there.

Fabulous 6th floor rooftop deck with little pool and lounge chairs. Great a/c. Lovely room and onsuite bathroom. Safe, quiet, walkable location 800 meters from the beach.

Breakfast- although it was sufficient for two- a bowl of cereal/milk, pre toasted bread, fruit, coffee and juice. We were surprised when told it wasn't available to our two children. We shared it with them (and bought our own food) but can't understand why the children can't have the same. Kitchen facilities are very basic if you want to cook but we managed.

Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, good location just 5 mins from 5th Avenue and the beach, great rooftop pool. Beds were made everyday and towels changed. Staff friendly. Supermarkets nearby.

This Hotelito is approx. 8 blocks to the beach. It is a quiet neighbourhood, approx. 5 blocks from the tourist 5th Avenue. We had previously reserved this hotel in the past and were quite satisfied, therefore decided to return this year. The property is very secure, with 24/7 staff at the reception and key pass front door. The rooms are large and well kept. The pool is on the smaller size but it is in a pleasant location, with umbrellas and lounging chairs on the 6th floor upper deck. The best attribute of the hotel is its staff. Gina, the manager, is efficient and her staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. Victor the caretaker. Adery and Manuel, at reception, Anna, our housekeeper were all very approachable and helpful. They are helpful and caring of quality service. We will hopefully be returning next year to enjoy Hotelito Del Mar and Playa del Carmen.

Nice small apartment hotel with rooftop pool. Out of the town and away from the noise but still lots of restaurants and shops around and 5th Ave is also a few mins walk away. Excellent value!

No restaurant in close proximity to hotel location. Signage for the hotel is very discrete and somewhat difficult to locate first time. Continental breakfast is definitely a failure as advertised.

Rate was higher than informed in Booking.com when we made our reservation and all the taxes were not included in the price either.

Beautiful, modern apartment with fully equipped kitchen and nice balcony. Huge windows, comfy bed, peaceful surroundings. Lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Quiet neighborhood but walking distance from beach and restaurants. Wonderful top floor patio with pool and views. Great street tacos next to AKI supermarket!

Loved everything!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotelito, the location is great, several restaurants and beach on walking distance. The rooftop pool is nice, the kids also enjoyed it so much. There is a small playground on the other side of the road close to the hotel. And you can buy fantastic tacos at the end of the street. The staff was amazing too!

Everything was great. Try and book a room on the quiet side of the property. 1 side is very quiet and the other faces the main road.

Windows not very sound proof and one didn’t lock. Rooftop pool area very small so didn’t end up using it. Lack of utensils in kitchen but as we ate out didn’t hinder us too much. Would have liked a kettle though.

It was fine! Clean, good Wi-Fi, apartment with kitchen, nice roof top terrace! The staff was very pleasant!! The position is good, 5’ walk from the first beach and 3’ from la quinta avenida… They also organised a shuttle to pick us up from the airport.
