I liked how accessible it is to the beach. I had doubts because of the videos that I found online, but once there, we were very satisfied and happy w the location.

The place is NOT on the beach and unfortunately they dont have beach club so you can't enjoy the best spot of Holbox. We had to spend more money in getting beach club spots to enjoy the beach, drinks, and food. The idea that the hotel had access to the beach was one reason to pick the place and that dissapointed me.

The staff saved this place. They are all very kind, helpful, and attentive. The cleanliness was good and the help with getting transportation was very good.

The restaurant of the hotel is closed, so the whole beach area of the hotel looks deserted. The stay would be much better is the restaurant operated.

Open back up the restaurant or at least provide room service even just AM coffee would be nice option as the website still says "room service" on booking. If none of that is possible at least provide a place to get ice or store ice for guests if they buy their own. Open back up the restrooms down on beach level, not a huge issue for us as we went out a lot, but still. Watch out for red ants that make their way in at night somehow on the second floor. Not a huge issue to us, we always travel with insect killer as we live in Mexico half the year and this is just part of it sometimes (insects/bugs).

Staff are very friendly and are open to being as accommodating as possible. They let you refill water bottles in the reception. They will call for taxi if you need. They provide 10% discount at one of the nearby restaurants when you show your receipt for staying at Casa Iguana. The location is very convenient. There are loungers and tables/chairs in more shaded area just back from the beach front as well as a few loungers they provide that sit right on the beach front. It is laid back and pet friendly. Wonderful stay. Rooms are clean. They provide adequate towels and toiletries, except hair conditioner.

Sadly upon arrival we were informed that the restaurant is closed, so no breakfast, no dinner, not even drinks available for purchase on the grounds. There were some sunbeds available on the beach but no shade.

Cute hotel with two pools and good location close to the beach. Rooms are small but well taken care of. Good value for money.

The only minus during our stay was the size of the bed. It was short and small for 2 people. It was also a bit broken which made it bit uncomfortable.

The location is perfect: close to the beach and the ”city center”. The staff is also very helpful and the restaurant at the hotel serves nice food with affortable prices.

Holbox has a lot of mosquitos, not a fault of the hotel, they had good protection. The bed was a little small for two persons

Pretty basic with not the greatest beach beds

Staff in particular Miguel were super helpful. I vaguely mentioned once what time I wanted to leave and the taxi to the ferry was preordered for me. Location is super central close enough to the centre of town and accessible now to both beach points do the island

It is announced being at the beachfront which is not true. You have to pass a street to reach the beach and there are only a couple of chairs. That was nothing I expected. Further, there are two pools which are nice, but there are only very few options to lay beside the pools and there are no hammocks for common use outside. As we had a room beside the road, we heard cars passing during the night which was not nice for a hotel a bit far from home and supposedly in a place without cars.

It’s a very tranquil hotel with hammocks in the rooms.

Pool or area isn’t the best but you are here more for the beaches so not an issue.

Perfect location, right on the main beach so easy to walk to beach clubs and restaurants. Very friendly staff and room is cleaned daily. There is shampoo, body wash and distilled water in the room which is a nice touch. Very quiet at night - would recommend!

Unfortunately no umbrellas at the beach.

The room was very big and there was the promised sea view (even though many trees between). The Jaccuzzi on the tresace was a big plus! The restaurant had excellent food quality and resonable prices.

The beach front was across the street and could have offered sun umbrellas or something like that. No breakfast available cause the restaurant was closed.

Comfortable and spacious room with balcony - super quiet during the night. The staff was super friendly and speaks a good English which was quite nice for us. We loved the fact that you could watch a lot of cute little geckos in the night:)
