Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesNoise: Do not stay at ANY hotel on 5ta Avenida if you're a light sleeper. Facilities: there was an issue with the A/C shutting off at about 3 am, only to turn on a few hours later. Thankfully there was a very powerful ceiling fan right over the bed. Windows need to be cleaned. There's a separate area for the toilet but the door is almost clear glass . Breakfast: Do not prepay for breakfast. There's many places to pick from with comparable prices.
Location was perfect for us. A few steps from everything! The rooftop pool was warm and with great views day or night. Modern and clean room with comfy bed. Windows partially open. Nice, accommodating staff. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again when in Playa.

United StatesI’m not one to nit pick, however the elevator was out upon arrival so walking up three flights of stairs was ok for cardio😉 they did repair it the next evening. lastly the tile had a few major holes on the floor, the most important was there was no hot water after the first night of showering. like WTH? Also there was no safe in the room.
the property is centrally located, you’re next to all the bars and restaurants. the Balcony is nice to sit out and people watch. the bed was nice and firm the AC worked just fine. there is also a jetted tub in the bathroom. it’s also an adult only hotel! yes!

Canada-unfortunately, we had a hard time communicating as the receptionist didn’t speak any English ( so if you speak Spanish well, you’ll be fine) -we had to ask for things like pool towels and breakfast vouchers which we had to get every morning instead of getting the appropriate amount at the beginning of our stay -their elevator doesn’t work so be ready to drag your suitcase up the stairs ( we stayed for 3 nights and there was no sign of anybody really fixing it) - they advertise “ a good breakfast” which is quite the overstatement, it’s just a simple continental breakfast with an extra charge for more coffee - the hotel is right next to a busy, loud bar, the music stops around midnight so it’s not that bad but be ready - we were quite disappointed as the hotel had a 4 star rating and we expected something better - it’s not horrible but in no way it is a 4 star

Czech RepublicIt can get quite noisy, especially with a bar located directly in the hotel building and playing loud music until late hours. The windows are not soundproof so if you are a light sleeper like me, you won't be able to sleep at all. The elevator wasn't working during my stay which wasn't mentioned beforehand, could cause some trouble to some guests...
The hotel is located directly on the 5th avenue so it's perfectly in the middle of everything, a lot of restaurants and bars are around, as well as the beach is close.
