Minor issues — nothing that really impacted our stay - mold issues to be expected in tropical places specially in the shower, some issues with the dish washer, and the swimming pool under repairs, much to the chagrin of the kids - but the sea was a fantastic option.

We spent 2 weeks with family and was absolutely the best in the l tow decades I’ve been coming back to Mauritius. The property is well maintained, living spaces with nice touches, stocked kitchen for avid cooks and cleaning service which is a must have with 6 people. The view was amazing, waking up to the waves and bedding and basic bathroom amenities what we needed. Hugo and his staff were amazing hosts, very communicative and supportive. Recommend and we will come back for sure.

Beachfront property. 5 min walk to Sundivers (situated at La Pirogue Resort) with whom we did several scuba dives. 2 small swimming pools which were clean.

Would be great to have a communal area for ping pong, pool table and use of SUP's Kayaks etc as hotels in the near vacinity do not allow non residents any where near! Umbrellas need replacing and tiles missing on the pool steps.

Location excellent - the view is spectacular, the beach is literally on your doorstep and ideal for swimming. Apartment was very well equipped with good quality appliances, and plenty kitchen/crockery/utensils/towels etc staff very friendly and helpful. Short walk to supermarket for daily bread etc Lots of restaurants in walking distance and great food trucks along the beach.

Lighting very less, outdoor grill not working, staff too much in a hurry to have us checkout, while checking in room was not prepared, electrical labour work was going on and took them few hours, despite that also waited for room to get ready without any issues, bit during checkout time, they literally pushed us out of the room and I had to wait for my car ride to come , very inconsiderate

Everything was perfect.

The apartment was amazing, situated right on the beach and boasted an incredible ocean view and beautiful sunsets. The rooms had ample space and were extremely clean. From a location perspective, it was close to many restaurants and bars.

Make sure you come with car (rent starts at € 250, we had large SUV for € 500) and local SIMs for those who are not in the master bedroom and insist on browsing in bed.

Our stay was graced with a luxurious penthouse suite on the second floor, accessible via an elevator. The spacious living room boasted a dining area and a comfortable sitting space, all bathed in natural light. Dual air conditioning units ensured the environment was tailored to our comfort. The kitchen came fully equipped, although for added convenience, a week’s supply of dishwasher detergent would be appreciated, rather than the two pieces provided. The Wi-Fi signal was robust in the living room and on the terrace, yet the two smaller bedrooms struggled with connectivity; however, it remained functional in the master bedroom. For uninterrupted internet access in these rooms, acquiring a local SIM card is advisable. Situated at the town’s edge, the suite’s location requires GPS navigation for ease of finding. Nearby, a hotel offers breakfast for 750 MRU and a buffet lunch for 1300 MRU. Dining along Coral Road is a more economical choice, with meals ranging between 400-600 MRU. During our exploration, we dined at four commendable restaurants, with the pizzeria emerging as our favorite.

-The final 100m of road to the resort was bumpy and with potholes

The apartment needs to pretty up. The electrical devices got long to the tooth.

The location of cap Ouest is brilliant. The apartment had everything we needed. Groceries are located nearby. Diving is offered in the next hotel, 5 min.on the beach. Boat tour is available directly from the beach by friendly locals.

These are minor quibbles that did not impact the enjoyment of our stay. That being said, there was rotten wood under the sink due to damp/water ingress. Some of the kitchen unit doors were not hanging correctly and need their hinges adjusted. And the paint on their metallic handles had come off on almost all of the them. The showers, while spacious and comfortable, all need to have their shower heads descaled due to limescale build-up and some may now need to be replaced.

The deck for the penthouse was spacious, well-furnished, and had a spectacular view of the ocean. The bedrooms were comfortable and the A/C worked well.

We did not have a car and there are only small supermarkets with limited selection within walking distance. The road to the hotel is very bumpy and badly lit.

The manager was very nice and attentive. Apartment was very well equipped, close to the beach.
