Every thing in this seven stars resort amazing from the check in process till leaving the resort. One of the best resorts in the world the staff and many thank to Miss Bushra guest relations who made our stay a unique experience she was very helpful and welcoming. The staff are wonderful and welcoming every where around the resort and it’s a great value in JW Marriott culture. Very different cuisines many high standards restaurants and delicious food on the top of them the indian on with the executive chef Malik he really challenging your taste very very nice food experience. The rooms are clean very well services the swimming pools and the beach too.

The hosts are very pleasant, responsive and helpful. They allowed us an early check in. It is easy to get their support as they live on the ground floor on the same property. The place is squeaky clean. Internet is reliable to superfast. Property is close (5-minute walk) to a bus stop. There are lots of convenience stores around if you want to pick little grocery items, you don't have to go far. There is free parking on the property that can accommodate a small car. If you rent a big one, you will have to park on the roadside.

Location is difficult to find even when using Google maps, you are bound to get lost. If you arrive at night, you may have serious challenges. It is also a bit far out from amenities, one needs to rent a car or resort to using public transport. There are so many dogs in the neighborhood, their barking disturbs peace and tranquility. Beds need replacement, they are not comfortable, bed linen also needs refreshment, the colors are not appealing. There is need to provide different sizes of cooking pots.

We had a really pleasent stay in Preakil Island Resort. We had only one night stay but we regreted about it. We thought we could have stayed more after we were in the hotel. We experienced the warmth of Mauritian hospitality once we arrived the hotel. We were offered early check in without any additional cost. Food was good. Hotel offers many activities including the water adventure when you book Half board or Full board which is excellent.

The aircon was good and the bed was comfortableish. Nice of the hosts to leave water and coffee as well as plugs and recommendations about the area like groceries and petrol. Communication was acceptable during issues that arose.

Wow where to start. The deposit was paid digitally and never refunded. There is a major hiway right next to your "mountain cabin". Neighbors are closer than they seem in photos. Quarry noises can be heard from 7am to 7pm. Mosquitoes cannot be escaped even with the net and coil. Worst part was a rat in the kitchen which has probably been removed since but was climbing in the kitchen and under the bed disrupting sleep - it is a wooden floor and generally the cabin is not sealed. They say the cabin might not be for everyone - definitely proved true not for me ever again !

Loved the view and the modern interior of the apartment. The handover was easy out of the lockbox and there is a maid serivce. Kitchen has all the faciliaties you could ever need. They have the most amazing couch and TV too !

The location around to either side was overgrown and abadoned yards. There was also multiple stray dogs around and a bus stop opposite.

The apartment was completely private and there was no interference from the owner. We felt like we were home away from home. The wifi allowed us to connect and communicate daily with our children.

The staff expect the golf cart’s butlers and the executive chief Farrah Most of the reception staff need training their work values and attitude very very bad and the culture of the resort strange i never saw that any where in the world or in mauritius on the top of the worst attitude their reception mangers Miss vandana Mohall as she wrote the name because she wearing no badge or uniform! And the night reception duty Manger how make our stay absolutely not a five star resort experience at all there is one restaurant all other cuisine’s is close , the breakfast area not really clean the flyers on the food and salad the don’t use the usual fans around the food only on honey
