Awesome location in Riga! Very friendly atmosphere in the hostel, all the guests were nice, and also the staff. Staff at the reception was super welcoming and gave me also tips on what not to miss in Riga, so great! Breakfast was quite good, but not excellent.

Nothing actually. There was no hot water when i had my shower in the morning though.

Location is close to everything: mall, old town, attractions! Bed is comfy and bedroom is clean. Locker provided with a lock and can fit my carry-on! Staff always smiling, vibing and happy! Free breakfast with freshly baked bread, waffles and croissant, boiled eggs, veggies fruits and cheese was super nice of them. Free coffee and tea all the time.

There was a lack of ventilation in the room, so windows were needed to be open all night but due to loud noises outside were hard to fall asleep. Curtains for each bed would add more privacy too

Nitpicks that really didn't matter much overall: The noise from outside was sometimes a bit much due to the revving of cars and motorbikes, earplugs hurt my ears so I don't use them, and the beds had no kind of privacy curtains. Still a very strong true 9/10, probably even 10 for most, not like some other 9/10 hostels that I have been to in the region, which makes me question people's standards.

Cinnamon Sally was the most social hostel I have been in so far, and a good lesson on other hostels about some quality of life things available and/or free of charge. That includes stuff for cooking, towels and bedding prepared already, shower gel present, some hair and skin care products to use freely and a simple but really convenient breakfast. It's not that hard, other hostels! I really enjoyed my stay, even as a more introverted person. The staff has great chemistry among themselves, which helped us guests to relax too. They were also flexible and quick to help out and answer questions. Other guests would regularly form groups and go out together, either for excursions or nights out, lunch, whatnot. Location is good, too, walking distance to many things to see. After an initial period of confusion it's very handy to be there for the public transport and groceries. I am certainly visiting again when I get back to Riga.

Probably the fact that it was a bit noisy - we had our windows open and there were a lot of cars and some shouting people outside.

The staff was super friendly and I liked it that you leave your shoes at the door, so it's clean and comfy inside the hostel.

Adding curtains to the beds would pretty much make the hostel a 10/10.

The breakfast was great, also loved the unlimited coffee during the day. The location is perfect, especially since everything in Riga is walkable. I would definitely stay again, the vibe was great and I met lots of fun people!

Cinnamon Sally is always the perfect option to stay in Rīga. The location is great, close to the bus and train station, close to center and old town. The stuff is really nice and provided helpful tips what to do in the surrounding of Rīga. The hostel is a very comfy place with a cool common area makes it easy to meet other travelers. Not to forget the best hostel breakfast with freshly baked waffles!

Nothing totally within their scope: The access through McDonald’s. The access lobby on the ground floor, the elevator and stairs are terribly dirty. It’s actually a shared space between all five floors. They can speak up to the building management or raise awareness to clean and maintain. They keep their own floor lobby and hostel very clean though. As if they’re completely in another building.

Staff are welcoming and so nice. Best customer service ever. I’ll deliberately visit Riga again just to stay here.

Nothing actually. It is just a bit complicated to get in, but it's well indicated and we get used to (with different codes for each door, we should call for the check in, etc)

Perfect hostel with all the ingredients that a backpacker looks for, even in the small details ! Amazing vibe, with nice staff, different activities proposed, great location, delicious breakfast, free towel, clean bathrooms, nice rooms, etc. They give you a map with suggestions to visit. You can let your bag after the check out if needed. Free coffee all day <3

I know this is the managements fault but maybe something like snore detector should be invented. I don't understand why snoring people stay in hostels. That's disrespectful
